How can you make such an idiotic statement.Unless you have been under a rock things are not easy ,esp. finding a job.
Nobody wants to settle for less.Tons of people ( once including myself ) have been out of work,most for a long time.
The difference with me is I bit the bullet and got a job for lower pay.Then realizing to make my original pay I had to get a 2nd job.Sometimes you need to make sacrifices to get by and I did.
I am not knocking unemployment I support it 100% and do not consider it a handout like welfare,section 8 housing,food stamps,etc..
However if you haven't found a job that you originally did by know odds are you need to make alternate plans until things change for the better.
Lucks plays a part in it and sometimes biting the bullet does also.I work in a supermarket for 8 $ an hour to compensate my other job that equals my original pay from when I did construction.
I need to do this to support my family.I really don't care what others think either.Maybe others should try harder.Getting beyond the job loss is the first step.It took a while ,but I did it and it wasn't easy.
