No one (or not many over here anyway) thought we'd win - too many out of form + out classed players. But you have to admit that the Team spirit the Europe boys showed was different class to the USA. Maybe some of that was Tigers doing, but there are a few others in there who don't exactly strike you as the best bloke to go for a beer with afterwards- Duval + Hoch spring to mind.
It was noticable over here how the odds for a Europe win collapsed after Day 2 when the Day 3 pairings came out. From looking like we might win a couple (Monty, Garcia) it suddenly looked like 5 or 6 might have a chance. I think this is where it went wrong for your guys..
+ Dr Freeze - a lot of what you say is true, the course + the tees were set up to Sam Torrences instructions but surely that's what home advantage is for. In 2 years time your welcome to set a course with 300 yard carries on every hole + we'll be totally shagged! (unless we can find an Italian passport for Angel Cabrera ).
We're going to enjoy it for a while anyway..no doubt we'll get hammered in 2yrs + you'll enjoy it twice as much!
BTW how have your press reacted to the Woods/team thing??

PS one book over here laid 20/1 that the guy who holed the winning putt would jump in the lake! You wouldn't have backed that if Hoch/Duval/Woods had done it!!
