As with everything, this first day at Mad Jack Sports must end. We thank the many contributors and the regulars here for making us feel welcomed. My wrap up tonight centers around my personal action on DEN/MEM. I have finished looking at my capping notes for this play and I still believe I had the correct ticket. I thought that MEM would dictate but this game just didn't follow any projections, simulations or mathematical models. I'm sure there's some spin on trending that could have predicted the total but I didn't see it. The O/U in the last 9 meetings was 1-8...now it's 2-8 and I would still play the under. Most of MEM trends at home were neutral. I believe it was a good play that lost. Can't dwell on it...tomorrow's another day. Thanks all...It's a wrap!

Ax & company....you guys are a great addition to the forum. I, for one, am very glad you guys have made your way over from that other forum.

I think you will find it much more to your liking here for your objectives & what you were trying to get away from over there.

Looking forward to your daily insights & thoughts!

Cheers & Welcome again to MJ's!

Thank you 3 Seconds. It was a wonderful first day. While not entirely successful on the wagering front, our main objective of exchanging ideas was a major success. We look forward to becoming active members of your community.

Thank you for making us feel at home.

Pinnacle died on me before I could put in the 2H U for the ORL and OKC games. Would've turned a losing night into a winning one. FML.

Well I have a free one at BetPhoenix but that doesn't really count.

I sense this is something else I should adopt, mulitple books?

ABSOLUTELY.... Point shopping is extremely important..... Just quickly think back..... HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU LOST BY THE HOOK OR 1 PT???? Many many books have had lines up to 2 point difference (timing is everything for most of them adjust as the big 3 do on OFFSHORE BOOKS...) Plus, be sure to have a book that has 2nd half betting for sure and offers 1st qtrs in NBA if possible.. Many of us make a fortune off of qtrs and especially 2nd halves... Shit, I think RANDER himself only bets 2nd halves nowadays and does quite well. I too, believe that this NBA can be "chroreographed" toward the end of games and those half pts sure do help!!!!

Hmm my problem is that I'm used to paying significantly less juice from Pinnacle. Most other books I see are all -110 and do not offer the option of buying/selling points. Do you know of any books that fit the bill?

Thanks for your advice, Theboundbook.:toast:

5Dimes.com is a very good sponsor of MadJacks and should fit for you.
