Wiseass beginning to break away from the pack. But like Xerxes, he is not immortal! We were born to die defending our homes, our honor, and our avatars. Sometimes I wonder if I am the only one who believes in these convictions. While the rest of you twiddle your thumbs and wait for oracles to fly into your beds (eyes roll especially in Woodson's direction), I am forging weapons and drawing up battle plans.

Right now, the only creatures I can truly trust are Mr. Mel and maybe the chick. The flea-bitten mutt has never given up, and is finally beginning to see the fruits of his labor. Like a good woman should be, Happy Hippo is consistent, loyal, docile, and obedient. I trust these folks at my side, whether on the battlefields of Thermopalae - or as an internet ally pillaging books and chasing down Canadians.

Props to Kramer for +4, although he only seems to do well out of greed - not for the cause. He is but a mere Arcadian. Despite Woodson's mandatory -3, the group gained points this week, going 18-10-2! Thanks to winning streaks by Hippo and Feklhr, 4 of the 11 participants now have .500 or better records. H-K contestants: the finest cappers the world has ever known.

Just cracked myself a great CANADIAN beer to wash down all the Chalk i'm about to eat (LOL)

N.E. Pat -14 1/2 Might as well be 34 1/2 (double)
Eagles -10
Rams -3

All the scores here are going to be run up (I hope)
I have Moss,Westboork and Jackson in my Fantasy pool and need a big week.

I may change my picks but like to get mine in first as us Canadians like to be leaders and not followers (or get drunk and forget) lol

You are as wise as you are drunk. Woodson can learn some things from you.

As director of human resources, it has come to my attention that one player among us may need to be banned from this contest. It took some time, but we have finally finished the background checks and reviewed the paperwork of all the contestant's rather thick files.

The problem, my fellow competitors, lies with one "Wesis". It seems that he is of Canadian nationality. Canadians have long been known for their superior intellect and reasoning skills (compared to us simple folk in the U.S.). It is an atrocity that Wesis was able to sneak into this contest under the guise of being like everyone else, when he is obviously much more clever.

We in human resources suggest an immediate ban of Wesis from the contest. Let's think about the consequences if he wins this:

1) A competitor from a more peaceful diplomatic country will make us feel like war-mongering, fascism, and world-control is not the answer.

2) We will be forced to recognize that cheap prescription drugs and betting at pinnacle are actually things we would love to indulge in.

3) We will have to admit that French is a pretty language, and English isn't.

4) He will make us feel like the true American minions that we are, and we may all move to Canada.

5) Mr. Mel won't get his biscuits.

Please, competitors, consider these points carefully. This is no laughing matter.

**Disclaimer: these statements and the move to ban Wesis from the contest has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he is crushing all of us and will surely take home the booty.**

I no longer trust Hippo as she has shown to not be of strong will or battle-ready with that feable legal pleading for mercy.

Hippo - HK's never surrender! Go spread the word. Let every poster assembled know the truth of this. Let each among them search their own soul. And while your at it, search your own.

The joke is on the Canadian if he indeed wins.

By the time the contest ends, the $20USD that he receives from each of us will be virtually worthless!

That thought crossed my mind too. Perhaps next year we should play for something more tangible than the American dollar.

But on the other hand if I don't win it will only cost me 7 bucks to pay my booty (LOL)
Went to the bank last week to pick up some U.S. Greenbacks for my trip to Vegas and I got 107.6 for each Canadian dollars.
Has since went down but I think it will get back to that level before I leave in 3 weeks.
If I can hold on I will give my kid the 20s to go to the 7/11 and buy a slurrppiee.

Think that drives me crazy is I can go to Wendys on my size and it cost me 1.39 for a juniour bacon burger but if I drive across the ditch it cost .99 US for the same burger.Big business likes to hose us Canadians (LOL).

I'm back and better than ever! Remember that -6 points have come due to MANDATORY losses....

That being said, I have no confidence in my plays and will be taking advise from my 3 year old nephew this week and next...

Money in the bank!

This is the best contest on MAdJack's PERIOD.

I think that, for purposes of the head-to-head battle between you and I, my -4 week should not be penalized, either.
