Andre Ware not Rodney Peete. They actually have a reputation for scoring since the mid 60's with Warren McVea in their backfield , but I remember none of their offensive coordinators:shrug:

From what I have heard Holgorsen is quit the party mangnet. Does not drive past to many bars without hitting at least a couple. Loves the brown water and women. One of the reasons Pitt may have decided against the hire. One hell of an offensive mind though. Head coach? We shall see.

So now Pitt is making coaching choices on the moral turpitude of the coach? :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
How about winning something first?

I don't know the numbers but I bet Tech was already there being that Leach started it all and taught Holgorsen most of what he knows. Houston has always been a scoring maching since Rodney Peete was there. I will agree that he made some good changes at Okla. St. As far as his recruiting capabilities, I can't comment, but will take your word for it.

I think Dana was as much part of the Tech offense as Leach and they basically learned together under Hal. Dana played for Hal and then coached under him with Leach. Houston had an ok offense but just like with Okie State Dana took it to another level.
