Rose to win 41.00 sia.

Sooner or later this golfing machine is going to win in the states. Played this deal last year and did a little better than decent. I like everything about Rose, height, weight, strength, age, all of it. Some think he's a bit of a bottler, I don't.

72 holes----- Rose over Calcaveccia -110
Thanks for the free money.

R1 Rose over Cink and DiMarco +150

It looks like I'm a bit Rosed up. Live or die with one guy. GLTA

Calc should have won last year, and his game has shown signs of life since the beginning of the year where he returned from surgery. THis is basically a home game for him.. Not sure about the free money, but BOL.

Judging by the line on this one I think I was a little late to the party on this one. Yet another course that doesnt suit JB Holme's game.

Boo Weekly -150 over JB Holmes (72)

Just read this..
We knew Boo Weekley would be a solid pick for this week?s Honda Classic, a ball-striker?s ballpark with greens that will never be mistaken for Augusta National, but the man from Milton (Fla.) is looking even better after spending a few days with his putting coach last week.

Following his second-round loss at last week?s WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, Weekley flew to Sea Island (Ga.) Resort to work with putting coach Mike Taylor and the two spent some extra time working this week at PGA National.

Weekley first teamed with Taylor at the 2007 Verizon Heritage, his first PGA Tour victory which was played just a few weeks after his Monday brush with glory at the Honda Classic. If you buy into providence, it?s hard to ignore all of that.

Thanks to all that bumped this line to -170

Tournament Matchups for 18 holes for First Round only :

Three Units :

Carl Pettersson over J. B. Holmes @ - 110. Push.

Sergio Garcia over Rory McIlroy @ - 120. Win by 3.

Two Units :

Robert Allenby over Sergio Garcia @ + 115. Win by 1.

Mark Wilson over Stuart Appleby @ + 105. Lose by 1. "*"

Mark Wilson over Mark Calcavecchia @ + 100. Lose by 1. "*"

Briny Baird over Kevin Streelman @ - 115. Lose by 2 "**"

John Senden over Peter Lonard @ - 125. Win by 5.

Boo Weekley over Justin Rose @ - 130. Win by 1.

One Unit :

Heath Slocum over Rory McIlroy @ + 130. Win by 1.

Davis Love III over Stewart Cink @ + 100. Lose by 6.

Angel Cabrera over J. B. Holmes @ - 110. Win by 5.

Briny Baird over John Rollins @ - 125. Lose by 3. "**"

Two things kept this from being a very good day instead of a mediocore one. Although the 72 hole matchups left me a lot of work.

"*" Sent Mark Wilson off as a "plus" underdog against his two playing partners hoping for at least a split. Fell behind early and lost both by ONE.

"**" Briny Baird was right there in both his matches but bogeyed the final THREE holes to lose both matches.

Outrights:

Jeff Klauk(150/1) e.w.
- - Only one I had in mind on Monday.

Justin Rose(40/1) e.w.
- - On my "wanna be on him when he wins" list for the longest time, then lots of stretches over multiple seasons at prices that didn't much matter whether I was on or wasn't, now a fair price and a spot and likely a stretch in which I "wanna be on him if he wins".

Matt Kuchar(80/1) e.w.
- - I'm not disappointed he choose to skip the winds of Mayakoba.

Boo Weekley(28/1) e.w.
- - Class of some sort.

Lucas Glover(66/1) e.w.
- - Now I'm treading into the realm of delusional.

Matchups:

Klauk(-105) over O'Hern (Tournament)
Rose(-110) over Romero (Tournament)
Pettersson(-115) over Cabrera (Tournament)

I love these east coast tournaments. I get up for work at 5:30 AM and they are already on the 5th hole.

I take back the free money crack, but I still like the bet.

Pettersson

I was feeling good seeing Carl Pettersson @ -3 thru five holes. He finishes the first nine @ +4.
:scared :nono:
He gave up SEVEN strokes in FOUR holes. Unreal.

By the way 7 strokes in 4 holes isnt much.. when the wind is blowing at the bear trap. Really no lead is safe this event. I mean Turnesa was playing decent and took a snow man on the last. Just brutal.

I can't remember seeing a professional's scorecard for 9 holes look like that. (Maybe I.B Finch?) Unbelievable.
My cards, however, look like that on a regular basis!

:mj07: Yea i was wondering how many golf balls he had left. I doubt they carry that many. I knew it was his second event back from injury, i thought about fading him, but passed.

Anyway, the wind looks to have died down, I need Boo to get a couple more birds coming in. Sergio looks really sharp.
