I wish I could repost an article written by "Sweet Lou" a couple of years ago that investigated why our beloved Sen. Kyl was so captivated by the gambling issue. It turns out, his major campaign contributor is a company that owns all the ATM's in Vegas. Another campaign contributor was, of course, the horse racing industry. What better reason to keep people from sending money offshore.
Kyl continually whines about the "threat of terrorism", the damage to our youth, and other trivial, meaningless drivel to support his bill, when the real issue is the money he gets to author anti-gambling bills. All the while, his state runs dog racing, horse racing, lotteries, etc.
