Things you find while looking for other things: this forum. For several weeks I have been tuning in, but MadJack was not taking any new registrations when I first tried last week.

I was doing a yahoo or google search for some football capping info, and a link to this site came up. I think I was hooked as soon as I read a post or two from Cow. Like, moo.

I believe it was around 2002 when I discovered Madjacks. The Lieutenant was walking down the streets of Philadelphia and I saw a big man with a head that looked like a cinder block. This big guy was squeezed into what looked like a size smedium Madjacksports.com tshirt. He had a big sign up that said outlaw picks for sale and will work if someone gives me a winner. His coffee can looked pretty full so I said what the hell and gave mjs a try :00hour

i used to post at a forum called ibettor (had some great cappers), but for some reason that place started slowing down (eventually closed) & somebody from there (can't remember who) told me about this place & a few other forums....after monitoring all of the recommended forums, i decided to join madjacks....& the rest is history....

This is EXACTLY the same way I found out about this place.

iBettor was going down for like a week for maintenance to move to new servers. One of the members mentioned this place, and I really don't think I ever visited iBettor's site again. Hated the format, but the posters were good there, too.

During the first year that I posted my plays here, I went 0-19-1 over the course of a weekend in CFB and NFL.

It's been downhill from there. :sadwave:
