Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Last nites game a prime example.....

2 crap teams....(yes, Gbay nothing to fear anymore)

A virtual yellow flag fest, interrupted by a few minutes of plodding action.

I am glad there was a compelling BB game and college FB to
view.

I barely look forward to Sunday NFL games anymore....thank goodness for yard work...

Anyone else finding better things to do on Sundays?

I usually find the Thursday night games a disgrace. Crap teams, Terrible uniforms! Who came up with that all one color look? But I watch because I usually have money on it.

Sundays I have taken to watching Red Zone. Between betting and contests I usually have an interest in every game.

Without money on the game I can very rarely sit through one. It's a catch, it's not a catch, looks like catch, what do they think in New York? Not worth it

Same here, between gambling, contests and fantasy football all the games have meaning to me...the color rush jerseys are horrible and the Thursday night games should just go away

I could not imagine not having the red zone channel, there are times that 9 games are at commercial and no football is live

I know I'm in the vast minority here, but I have always enjoyed college football more than the NFL. I rarely sit through a whole game.

On the course!
When I was a kid, you had football on Saturday and Sunday. No other days. I think the reason people are getting fed up, is because you can watch sports 24/7 now.

NFL Sunday morning.....Sunday afternoon, Sunday night, Monday night, Thursday night.

NCAA Saturday from noon til 1am, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.

Bowl games: You had FOUR games on New Year's day. Now, all but 6 teams make a bowl game, and they start in mid November, and go until mid January. They are their own fucking season!

I think the constant overload of the talking heads over-analizing everything gets people fatigued also. An hour or 2 before and after every game.....

A short time from now, this will make it more watchable then it currently is, because you will get the opportunity to interact live with the action or lack there of that is taking place as well as get your friends and family to sign up so you can compete against them. Follow this link to preregister and be one of the first to know when this App goes live.

That "opportunity" amplifies how bad the NFL viewing has really become.....how many here watched EVERY riveting minute of the Arizona- Seattle snoozer?
If you answered "Yes, I did", I humbly suggest, you re-evaluate your existence on planet Earth...:0003

I do not watch it any more. never know who is going to play, way to many penalties-let them play. College football is 10 times more exciting to watch-bar none!!:00hour

My actual viewing time for NFL is at it's lowest. I watch my hometown Lion's if they are still in the game . What I do now is hit mute & read. I've been watching NHL more this year especially my Wings who I really don't expect much from this season, but they have some youngsters that I enjoy.

I guess I am in the minority. It is by far and away my favorite sport to watch on TV. I love it every night it is on, even with a crappy game. Betting and fantasy football make it that much more exciting. Without those, I wouldn't watch as much, but those contests/wagers make everything matter. As for the game itself, I love it, but the overabundance of penalties, the softening of being able to actually hit someone and the neverending commercials, play stoppage and talking heads are annoying. The game itself along with great food and friends is awesome. I like college, as well, but I find that the pros are much more predictable for betting purposes, so more fun on that front.:popcorn2

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the commercials. To me TV at this point is unwatchable, nearly 30% commercials, in the NFL it's nearly 40%. Six commercials, kicked off, five more commercials. If it's not on HBO or Showtime, i.e. walking dead or Mr. robot, I will only watch on the fire TV (kodi). One thing I'd be perfectly good with is never seeing another commercial.
