I know millenials don't gamble in casinos. Is there truth to the statement that they don't gamble on sports online as much either?

"millenials don't gamble in casinos".... That's pretty ignorant

I can't speak for anyone else however I don't gamble online much. I give the neighborhood where I grew up business.

You obviously haven't read much on the subject. I don't want to have to walk to to the sources but take 5 minutes to do a google search.

Vegas doesn't make money off of millenials in the casinos. They do with restaurants and clubs. That is FACT and is easy to find.

So, it's not very difficult to then look more broadly and hypothesize that millenials also spend less time on gambling websites.

Vegas is the only place that has casinos here in America... ? I don't see many blue hairs when I go to the bike or commerce or the hustler or Hollywood park or morongo.. And that's just a few here in California . I can't even entertain this. Whatever you say saint

spot on. when I am in the US I live very close to Atlantic City and I can say without hesitation that the number of young people playing in casinos is very small. like you said, the young people are going to the restaurants and clubs, which are now being built pretty much in the centre of the casinos to at least try and get some play from the young crowd on the way in/out.

same with the race track or horse racing in general really, not enough young people interested at all and a part of why the game is really struggling.

Well speaking for myself, I came into adulthood in the halcyon days of internet gambling. It was easy to get started, and there were few hoops to jump through.
If you were 18-25 now and looking to start gambling online, you probably would be turned off by all the barriers in funding and withdrawing. And just skip it, or bet locally.

This is a great point by one of the smartest posters on here.

That's only true if living in USA, if living outside of USA you don't have to deal with that shit.

Honest question, what brings online books the most revenue? I've got to think it's sports wagering over poker, similar to a brick and mortar. Jack I think you will agree that funding has been a major roadblock, which is why the bitcoin is so huge.

Funding is definitely the biggest problem, no doubt.

Bitcoin is the best thing to come around since Neteller and with the bitpay visa it might be better than Neteller.
