Looking at everyones results, this brings to my mind some questions. The lowest score that anyone has listed has been 122, which would be 7 points over the high end of the average range. What does this mean:
1. That us gamblers here at madjacks are of above average intelleigence.
2. That people are lying about what they scored, or took the test a couple of times and put in the high score.
3. That the test is easier than most IQ tests and scores are inflated. I scored 129, which is about right, if memory serves me correctly. So, I don't think this is the case.
4. That people who scored average or below do not post the scores.
Just curious what others think is the reason for the high scores listed?

I think it's because IQ tests are usually timed and then your time is factored into your score. This one gives you all day! But hey, who's complaining?! I'm "almost" a genius!!:shrug:

This is by no means a way to boost my score in anyone's eyes, but did anyone just pick an answer because they didn't want to do any of the math, or take time to figure it out? I know I did on 4-5 of the questions? Maybe I am actually more intelligent or ouch even less! (Probably more because it's simple math, but I was busy while taking it.)
Did anyone else do the same, I would assume the answer would be yes, especially if you do not like tests but still are interested in seeing what they say about you.

yup...a couple of those had my head spinning and i just guessed. i didn't have the time and didn't think it was that long of a test either. the last couple pages, i just breezed through it.
i'm pretty sure i could have done better if i had taken the time, but i'll never know because i AIN'T taking it again

I scored 147, which is about what I score every time i come across these on-line IQ tests.
This score and 2.75 will get me a nice latte at the bookstore......:
Also, it took me about 10 minutes to do and I guessed on at least 7 of the questions because I got impatient with thinking on a Sunday afternoon....
I don't take these on-line tests with a

128 for a old guy like me. My Kid just did it to and made me look old with a 133. I'll just call him smart ass.
This test is not remotely similar to an IQ test.The scores alone can tell us that.I was told once that an average person would score 100 on a normal IQ test.
I too became bored & distracted during the test.Of course my attention span is about 5 minutes & even with that I am being generous.
