I jumped on Azinger after I saw your post - picked him up @ 125/1 at Corals - he's not officially posted by me, but I thought it was a good call and he's certainly finished his first day in brilliant form. Thanks.

Throwing in a couple 2nd rd matches--all players have completed 1st rd.

Durant -115 over McCallister @ 5 Dimes
Durant -125 over Sauers @ VIP

Delayed rds not to my liking but all 3 should get same break on weather. LOTS of #'s on these--- Durant will have to throw in real clinker to lose both to my thinking.

Will throw one in for final rd.
Choi -138 (-1/2 stroke) over Kuchar @ WSEX

Giving up some weight on this one but to my thinking should be much more considering Choi has as many rds in 60's in this event as Kuchar has all year in 29 rds---and in his other 2 rds of 65 and 67 prior to this event he ave 73.5 the remainder of tourney. Hoping for a repeat.

Outrights - Final update: 0-3; -4.50pts

Verplank 54th
Appleby mc
Ames 7th

Two poor performances that were almost saved by the final selection. But for a 3rd round 71 - no-one else in the top-10 had a higher 18-hole score - Ames would have maintained his challenge throughout the event. As it was, he finished one shot outside the place positions.

Matchups - Final update: 2-5-0; -6.20pts

Ames/Ogilvy WON by 5
Verplank/Ogilvy LOST by 4
Appleby/Hoch LOST by 11
Ames/Hoch WON by 7
Verplank/Hoch LOST by 2
Byrd/Azinger LOST by 2
Lancaster/McCallister LOST (Lancaster wd)

Heavy loss on the event. Could have finished with a profitable 4-3-0 result, but Verplank went backward on the final day. Not so consistent after all.

PGA Tour ytd
Outrights: 7-44; -15.35pts
Matchups: 55-55; -18.03pts

All Tours ytd
Outrights: 30-131; +54.63pts
Matchups: 157-133; +10.90pts

Thanks LIA It sure has been a pleasure to watch you progress the past 2 years I might add.

Took it on the chin on Toms and Watson but had them pegged about right as Stadler only had to finish under par and a top 30 from Dimarco or Verplank but was fortunate on Durant as he got job done despite his worst rd of tourney.

Been getting decent place odds on Singh in running past 2 weeks after throwing up sub standard opening rds but feel a little foolish as he won both and didn't have a penny to win on him:eek:
