2nd round update: 2-1-0; +0.97 units

Ames/Sluman WON by 1
Baird/Funk WON by 2
Mayfair/Stankowski LOST by 2

Mid-point update:

Mattiace/Daly WON (Daly withdrew)
Flesch/Gamez WON by 3
Funk/Gamez LOST by 2
Triplett/Frazar WON (Frazar disqualified)
Howell/Ogilvy Trails by 4

Mickelson 57th
Toms mc
Cink 32nd

Profitable look to the matchups, but the outrights have been far from consistent. Toms and Mickelson had been highly placed in the 2nd round before falling back and Cink had been 3rd after the 1st round. Not much hope now, so looks a break-even event at best.

3rd round plays (1 unit unless stated):

Todd Barranger to beat Akio Sadakata -122 @ Five Dimes [2 units]
Phil Mickelson to beat Charles Howell -180 @ Moneyplays
Jeff Sluman to beat Geoff Ogilvy -107 @ Five Dimes [2 units]

3rd rd results 2-1
Flesch/Westwood win
Sluman/Ogilvy win
Williamson/Yancey loss

4th rd
Dimarco+115 over Appleby -1/2 stroke @ Wsex
He's -120 most euro's at ties lose and this is no difference.Chris ranks 9th in final rd scor ave. Still do not feel confident on this plays as both By's from aussie have my # always catching them on wrong end of their Jeckle/Hyde nature--but will look with these odds.

Baird -125 over Sadakata
Significant rating edge and if yesterdays is any indication on Sads abilty to handle weekend pins in the states this should be no contest.

May -103 over Mayfair @ 5dimes
May seem like odd choice but main reason is finally gonna get some wind today(15 mph projected) While I don't have enough wind stats on mayfair to confirm I still think he will not like it, being one of the highest trajectory players on tour and ranking 100+ in driving distance won't help especially vs May ranking in top 25.

WOW Sirbets linesmaker must have really been celebrating Derby Day when he made thoses lines:D
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Forgot to add if one liked Sadakata you can get him + 1/2 stroke +150 in match vs Baird @ WSEX for a can't lose hedge but small. If not for ties lose at 365 I would go on hedge where you could still win one wager with push but will not hedge with just small profit but relish WSEX linemakers confirming my thinking on match.

4th round update: 1-1-1; -0.80 units

Singh/Baird LOST by 2
Cink/Westwood WON by 1
Love/McCarron TIED (Push)

Final update:

Matchups: 3-2-0; +1.56 units

Howell/Ogilvy LOST by 4

18-holes: 6-5-1; -0.37 units

Outrights: 0-3; -3.00 units

Mickelson 67th
Cink 30th

Small loss on the event, primarily from some poor outrights. Did expect the final round plays to cover them; they should finish in profit at least seven times out of ten, but not this time.

4th rd
Dimarco/Appleby win
Baird/Sadakata win
May/Mayfair push

Outrights Hoch cut

Matches week 10-3-1 ytd 105-78
Units week +6.45 ytd +22.6

Outrights week - 1 unit ytd +14 units

Both losses by a stroke. Wish I could have had Lewis at 40/1 to place like last week. Oly cont have regressed to being cut to having none in 4th rd,however WSEX returned to 1/2 stroke lines.
Good tourney to add to wind stats with 3 being calm and 4th 15 mph winds.
Off to watch the playoff.

May have to recalculate Estes/Flesch 72 hole push to a loss.
Can't tell from their read out as it just has Estes loss but I believe that was wager against Flesch. I read their rules and they are not clear but I assumed it was like most wagers a books "for 72 holes" Here is what their site says.I have inquiry in and will adjust if outcome is still graded loss.

Daily Match-ups: wager on one player to place higher than another, either for the tournament of the specified round. If there is a tie, the wager amount will be refunded.

Ending stats have been changed to relect loss instead of push on Estes/Flesch 72 hole match. Received the following and can not argue their stand, appears my assumption was the error. However on Quig/Zoellner issue in the beards, they are in blantant error and am letting win stand.
