HSF/CFB Championship Weekend

The field is artificial turf, earlier in the season they had flooding on the island, causing a deposit of silt on the field. It gets washed into the turf and causes the uniforms to get muddy looking. As for the surface it's in fine shape, it's been raining all day here, but it is stopped and should be dry this evening.
Man- Thank you- I was having trouble reconciling the mud with Turf... It was funny the dance in my head LOL.
EWU Over 27 2nd half. I like this one. Nicholls should have more points... but they dont... I could see a 21-10 type half... I think the nerves come off Brierre and the game opens up a bit. Lets go points.
THe more the line drops the more I like UC Davis. UNI has struggled on the road and UCD is a little tougher than thought of.... UNI get rep because they are MVFC but they are not good on the road. Maier is a solid QB and Hawkins knows how to coach them up

Nichols State Over 21; Shitty Push but I will take it... Missed a FG, had one blocked, turnover in EWU territory, then Pick 6 from inside their 12... Should have hit that but c'est la vie.

The big boys come out to play for the grand finale of Washington HSF Championship... Lake Stevens Vikings are a perfect 13-0 and averaging 48.2 ppg while allowing 16....This is the first trip to the finals since 1994 when they faced off against O'Dea and lost ....QB Tre' Long leads the high flying attack and has passed for 2,532 yards and rushes for 451 yards with a combined 43 TDs (only 3 INTs).... The HC Tom Tri (14 years (3rd at Lake Stevens) is 135-40)...Winning the competitive Wesco Conf was a great accomplishment, but a State Title is much more important obviously... Vikings opened with a Win against #14 Curtis (56-42) then won the quarterfinal over perennial power #6 Graham-Kapowsin (45-28) then beat the #2 seed Woodinville (28-14)....RB Dallas Landeros has 172 carries for 1,312 yards w/13 TDs... *He has rushed for 100+ yards in every playoff game (averaging 170 yards pg)..... RB Thomas Lewis has 725 yards w/12 TDs... Long has several viable targets to pass to with WRs Kason Kinchem with 41 catches for 927 yards w/13 TDs *He also leads the Defense with a team high 7 INTs / WR Ian Hansen has 54 catches for 902 yards w/11 TDs...... The OL group is about as big and athletic as you will find in HSF (4 OL are 1st Team All-League) and will return next year too *All 4 are drawing Div 1 interest. The Defense is statistically one of the best in the state.
Union Titans also sport a 13-0 record.... The HC Rory Rosenblach is in his 3rd year at Union (26-7) but has 11 years of HC experience... He is 86-32....Union is the #2 ranked team in the State and #1 in 4A (all season) .... The team returned the Starting QB, RB, WR, and OL so the experience helps... Offense averages 47 ppg and allows 18.5 ppg.... QB/DB Lincoln Victor (5' 9" 170 lbs) is a dangerous dual threat who has passed for 2,214 yards on 77 carries he has accumulated 750 yards w/31 Total TDs. His numbers would be better except he was out with injury for 2.5 games... In the playoffs he has passed for 705 yards in 3 playoff games w/7 TDs.. He has rushed for 330 yards w/4 TDs over last 3 games . SR RB/DB Jojo Siofere (5'9" 200 lbs) has 833 yards on 120 carries and has made 48 catches for 688 yards w/15 TDs....The main goto WR/DB Darien Chase (6'1" 185 lbs)
Has 60 catches for 878 yards w/15 TDs (heading to Nebraska) *He supposed to play tonight however, he suffered injury last week that could hinder productivity... The Offense has been clicking on all cylinders and has scored 55, 50, 49, 35 points....
The Union offense will only go as far as QB L Victor takes them... The Greater St Helen's Conf Champs are ranked #150 in the Nation while Lake Stevens comes in at #310..... I'm going to ride with the talking heads who have Union picked just about everywhere..... I expect a ton of points in this one and while the Unders are usually a better bet, just think both offenses put on a show tonight...

Yes indeed.... I was too late to the party and missed your 2nd half recommended play on EW on that over..... Looking to see if there's any value in that Aggie game.
