You bet $2500 on someone's pics because you heard he was good.
I have a bridge for sale are you interested ?
Let me add JT is a great capper but he can't win every night.

BOHICA,

Although I don't think he meant any harm, he was just frustrated, I appreciate you taking a stand on my behalf.

Here are the rest for tonight's slate.

Clippers -13

Raptors -2.5

UNDER 199 TOR/GS

all double unit selections...

I rode with the Jazz as well tonight and, I know it's early in the season, but this has got to be the most inconsistent team so far.

Look at who they've played. They played the Lakers twice and lost by only 4 points respectively in each game and then they get bitch slapped by a banged up Hawks team who are heavy underdogs at home.

This is obviously not the same Jazz team of old and I guess I'll lay off of them for awhile...or maybe do the smart thing and start betting against them.

Well, time to give Cleo a call.

JT,
Did not mean to be so abrupt, but it just gets old when someone such as yourself busts his ass trying to help others, and has to take that s**t.
Thanks for all you do.

i'm new to handicapping round ball, but i ain't new to handicapping
you booked a bad night
so freakin' what

i do like your attitude
you're a winner
you hate loosing

i didn't bet basketball tonight, and probably won't for a few days. not until i get my confidence up with my round ball skills

i'll be watching and analyzing your picks

Monk,

Great post and I think you may be on to something...early homework shows that the jazz play great teams tough, lakers twice, and the bucks, so how do the lose here? Maybe the new defense killing the pick and roll. The lakers played the jazz like they always do, because why change when they have been winning? But younger teams maybe trying different methods and the zone could be the answer. More to come..

What's up Sneaks? I hardly ever bet the roundball, but decided to go with Your Jazz and Raptors plays. You seem to know your hoops. I myself do not hell I got smoked in foots last weekend as well. I have nothing better to do tonight but hang with my two year old daughter and hope now for a Tor victory. My only safe bets lately are my getting injured in the mixed martial arts tourneys that I'm foolish enough to enter lately. I still owe Jack some photos of my latest where two of my ribs were broken a month ago.

OK, I wasn't sure what the hell happened with the Jazz squad but this quote is rather disturbing, to say the least:

Donyell Marshall was the only Utah player in double figures with 12 points. Perennial All-Stars Karl Malone and John Stockton combined for just 12 points on 3-of-10 shooting.

Do these people not know that I have money on them!

I think Nolan said it best when he declared that these young millionaires seem to only play when they want to.

But wait! Malone and Stockton are seasoned vets! Still scratching my head.

Let's get 'em tomorrow JT!

Didn't have money on any games today, but when I saw the outcome of the Jazz games I was anxious to get on here and see what your comments were. One of the reasons why I like following your plays (whether I have action or not) is that you actually watch the games and take knowledge from them win or lose.

Just wanted to see if you took anything from this game that coudl help all of us in the future when handicapping games.

Thanks for all your writeups.

JT,

good to see that someone else feels the same way I do. I had a bad night tonight, but what the hell...I played Toronto -3 BIG. Might come back to bite me in the ass, but...so be it.

JT, of all the NBA teams, the new rule changes have hurt Utah the most. Their bread and butter all these years has been the pick and roll. If is almost impossible to run against the zone. I faded them against Mil and have stayed away from the sides in their games since. They probably don't know any other plays. Unless they come up with another offense they are in for a long season.
