Why would anyone want to be on Seattle when they have played one of the softest schedules ever....They're best win of the year came against the Skins which had no offense, and a QB that is old enough to be my grandfather

pittsburgh steelers fans are about as delusional and myopic as ohio state and notre dame fans in college ball. the steelers are a decent but hardly great team. this team isn't even as good as last year's team yet people fail to realize that. flip a coin. either team could win by 7 points. but anyone thinking either team is far better than the other needs to wake up.

I'm calling a FG difference in the final score...I think this game will be rather low scoring with two good defenses in both teams

They palyed

San Fran 2x
AZ 2X
STL 2X
Phil
Green Bay and lost
and ATL

Don't even get me started about how many times Pitt has played against good comp, and have won.....you throw Seadogs in Pitts comp and all of a sudden they are hopin for a wild card or maybe not even get in CMON THIS IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!

Wake up...lol...

You put Pitt in the NFC with Seattle's schedule and all of a sudden your saying the opposite thing....

You put Seattle in Pitts place and all of a sudden Pitt is playin Indy in the Championship

Hey Socrstud, were you calling out Indy and Chicago for their weak schedules all year too? I'm not denying that Seattle had a pretty weak schedule but teams like Indy and Chicago had schedules that were right up there with Seattle's in terms of weakness, yet nobody seemed to have a problem with them. If you honestly think Pitt is a much better team than Seattle you're looking at this game with blinders on. I can't believe how many people on this board are trying to discredit Seattle simply because they're betting on Pitt. Look at the stats. This is a VERY even matchup. As for Seattle's best win, it was probably when they throttled Carolina by 20, not beating Washington by 10.

if carson palmer doesn't tear up his knee, the steelers are likely on the golf course right now.

Agreed. And if Nick Harper doesn't inexplicably decide to turn back inside rather than keep going up the sideline after that fumble recovery they would be golfing too. I give Pitt credit for taking advantage of those opportunities, but you just kind of get the feeling they have used up their nine lives.

how would you say it better than Glenn....... Honestly I think Indy had a pretty decent Sched....Bears not sooo much....and I credit teams for what they have acheived....a win is a win no matter what and that is all I would care about....however, If you think about teams that have very good records but all of a sudden play a team with a decent record but have been playing against rediculous competition its a whole differernt story.....

Well I guess you could argue, Skins and Giants being top 10, but that would be an arguement...Skins are pretty good

Carolina mediocre....Washington good D, no offense....

Seattle will definately get to try to prove what they want today.....

But I would hate to put a bet on a team that hasn't played 1 team in the top 10 during the regular seasaon and expect them to beat a very good....yes I said very good deffensive and offensive squad that can be deadly if they put points on the board first against you......... I just couldn't do it, it makes no sense,

Tell me Glenn you put Pitt with the same schedule, would they be still searchin for the wild card? I'll answer that for you NO WAY!

however, if the ref doesn't overturn an interception everyone in the world agreed was an interception, Bettis' fumble would never have been a factor..just my twom cents, seattle is good..very good, but if indy were in the super bowl vz seattle, honestly, the line would be a least 7...if anything, pittsburgh is getting very little credit

pittsburgh is getting very little credit? they're the #6 seed in the afc and they're favored for god sakes.

I know this much, if seatttle played in the afc, lets say , any of the 6 playoff teams schedules, theres a good chance they would not have been in th playoffs..not because they are bad, but because the afc as a whole was good. I though sd would win the sb and they didnt even make the playoffs
