Thanks guys, happy to help. I like Serie A alot, so many opportunities for goals in this league. Napoli is one of my favorites I love Insigne and Osihmen is insane. These guys got flare and when they in form there are few, more entertaining squads in Europe.

Let's keep it in Italy and stay with the theme. There have been a few weeks in the books so I can start to do use some data for this 'capping.

TORINO/LAZIO OVER 2.5 -138
Lazio snakebit me twice in the last few weeks, and so did Torino in the game against Sassuolo. Another red flag is the scoreless draw the last time they played. Nonetheless , the #s don't lie. Torino has scored in each of their 4 games and Lazio has conceeded in each of their contests. No other teams hits the target in Serie A more than Lazio, they lead the league in shots on goal. Lazio is also 2nd in the League in scoring with 2.8 gpg. Torino has some nice offensive #s as well as they rank top 5 in shots, and shots on target and they avg almost 2 gpg. All of this tells me these teams will be around the net, and we should see an entertaining contest. Torino comes into this game with 2 clean sheets in a row, but I am not a believer just yet. They took out an out of form Sass squad, and recently promoted Salernitana. They get a step up in class against Lazio. I am going over:0074

FIORENTINA/MILAN OVER 2.5/3 -115
This one looks juicy. Fiorentina has been playing great ball, they have won 3 in a row and scored 2 in each of those games. They have also conceeded in all those games. Now Inter comes to town fresh off scoring 6 goals on Sunday. Inter leads the Serie A in scoring, but I think Fiorentina at home can carry some of the weight. Given both clubs recent winning and offensive form , I don't think getting atleast 3 goals is too much to ask.

Wow Fiorentina flying today, 2 massive saves in the first 10 minutes to save Inter from going down early. Great pace in this one to start :0003

This went as planned, Inter put the 4th in to close out the game late. Fiorentina is a very interesting team, they have flare, and can attack. The 1st half was as good a half I have seen from a team so far in Serie A. It is no coincidence that they play pressing, aggressive, and attacking football with a high tempo. Their new coach was the former boss at Spezia, and kept Spezia up with the same tactics. I am going to look for Fiorentina to the Over quite a bit this season. Inter is machine 10 games in a row in Serie A scoring 2 or more goals!

SATURDAY

EPL
MAN UNITED /VILLA OVER 2.5/3 -138
United has gone over 3 games in a row since Ronaldo's return. I have taken profit in each of those games and will stay on the bus for another week. MANU leads the EPL in goals per game at 2.6, and they rank 2nd in shots and shots on target. On the back 3rd they can be leaky as evident by the fact they have conceeded in all but 1 game played in all competitions to start the year. Villa has attacking talent. They have scored in all but one match and average 1.6 goals per game. I think they will get their chances in this match, and are capable of contributing. Villa doesn't travel very well. They gave up 3 at both Chelsea and Watford. I am looking for a 3-1 type of game with Ronaldo scoring in his 4th straight :0074

More midweek action, this week is loaded with games, I love it. I have been working from home during the entire Pandemic, and its nice to pop some mid day action on one of the screens while I work. I have broken down these games today. Juve has looked like dog shit for large swaths of this early campaign. They still haven't won a game, sit near the bottom of the Serie A table, and rank in the lower half of all key offensive metrics that I evaluate. They still have some premium talent on this team, and I would expect them to come around sooner than later. They get a team in Spezia that ships goals, they have conceded in every match. Could this be the game that Juve gets back in form? The price to go over 2.5 is too rich for me to play on its own. I do have Juve game over 2.5 on my weekly parlay ticket though, so I will be pulling for them.

The other game features Milan vs Venezia. ACM does not look like the same team to me upfront without Giroud and Ibra in there. They still posses superior talent to Venezia. Milan is the best defensive team in the Serie A, they have only shipped 2 goals the entire season, and I don't see them giving up one to Venezia. I am not playing this one over 3 either as I think ACM has to carry the entire load in this match.

TOMORROW

SERIE A
ROMA/UDINESE OVER 2.5/3 - 120
I played this after the Napoli/Udinese bloodbath on Monday, and made some comments regarding the Thursday matchup. This line is starting to steam up. Udinese reverted to shitty form last game, and got blitzed by Napoli in a 5-1 loss. They now go to the Capital and have to face the 2nd best scoring team in the League on super short rest. Roma ranks 1st in shots, 4th in shots on targets, and score 2.8 goals per game. I think Roma can put up 3 here. Udinese is capable of contributing as well. They will want to show better than their performance on Monday, and they still rank 7th in the league in shots on target, and score over a goal per game. Roma has given up goals in all but 1 match, and I think Udinese is able to chip in with 1 to help our cause.

I will take a flyer on this game, I overlooked this one earlier.

TODAY

CAGLIARI/EMPOLI OVER 2.5/3 -115
Cagliari changed up coaches, and have been looking quite entertaining. These are the goal scoring totals in their 4 games to start the season 4, 5, 5, 4. They have scored 2 goals in 3 of their 4 matches, and average a nick over 1.5 goals per game. They have also conceded in all their contests to date, and given up 2 goals in 3 of their 4 games played. Empoli on the other hand have given up 3 goals already in 2 of their 4 matches. Neither team is formidable at the back, but they can both score. Empoli comes in off a 3-0 loss, and will definitely want to show better. This is a match up off bottom dwellers in the standings, but both teams will feel like they can get something from this game. It should make for an entertaining contest.

Done in by a few posts , a hit crossbar and about 5 hairline misses what can you do. The read was pretty good but didn't get the bounces in the end.

Damn Flamengo busted up my weekly lottery long parlay. They looked like world beaters in the 1st half, and than cooled the jets, and somehow the game went under. Didn't catch the breaks I needed in that game, between Empoli and Flamengo game I must have seen 4-5 posts get clanked, brutal.

My productivity at work is taking a big hit with all these afternoons loaded with games. I am going with the trifecta today of Serie A overs. I can see 3 goals in all of these matchups. Torino/Lazio breakdown is in this thread from a few days ago. Basing simply off the #'s this Lazio/Torino game screams Over. Napoli has scored 2 goals or more in all of their games to start the season, and I don't see things changing today. Samp aren't world beaters, but they have proven they can find one. The addition of Caputo upfront gives them a little more punch in front of the opposition goal, and I think they can find the net. I also made my thoughts known on Roma sitting at home off a loss, hosting Udinese who got buried 4-0 at home to Udinese. I don't think its too much to ask based on the metrics, and situations to get 3 in these match ups.

Here you have it:

Torino/Lazio Over 2.5 -138

Napoli/Samp Over 2.5 - 138

Roma/Udinese Over 2.5/3 - 120

*****Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri wants the squad to push high and press aggressively against Torino this evening.********

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, huge step forwards were made in the 2-2 draw against Cagliari last weekend, with the Biancocelesti having 28 shots, 10 corners, 23 crosses and 73% ball possession.

Lazio Full-Back Hysaj Fully Focused on Torino, ?We?re Improving Every Game?

Whilst these numbers didn?t stop the team from walking away with a draw, they showed the growth of the squad, who are slowly starting to adapt to Sarri?s system and philosophy.

Sarri knows that the Lazio squad are on the right track and so wants to see confirmation of this development in today?s match against Torino.

Lazio Coach Maurizio Sarri Has Never Lost a Serie A Match Against Torino

******The 62-year-old Italian coach wants the brilliance seen against Empoli and the aggressiveness of the second half against Cagliari, and so has asked the squad to tightly push up the pitch and press high.****

The Roman club need to change their momentum ahead of Sunday?s Derby della Capitale against Roma.

I envision Sari chain smoking in the change room , freaking out on these hacks. Apparently these losers didnt get the message. Napoli is looking good though, at this point I'll take a split and let Roma decide my day.

unreal, after all that the game nearly went over after all. The sluggish 1st half did us in on this, damnit. The Roma lineup looks pretty elite for this next one. The Roma/Lazio Derby is a huge match, I overlooked that in the Lazio 'capping, they didn't look too focused in this until they went down a goal. I am hoping Roma brings it against Udinese.

Losing day, brutal. This has been a frustrating 5 weeks to start the year. I have struggled to stay around .500, and now I am underwater a bit. I have pretty good reads on these games, but not getting the bounces. Roma clanked 2 posts in the first 5 minutes, and put 11 shots on target in 45', to only come away with 1 goal at half. I knew that this one was fucked real early. I put up the MANU/VILLA OV already, I like the way that shapes up. I have 2 more plays on the weekend I can get those up soon. Other than that I am going to regroup for UCL, I already have a few in that I played early. I know some people follow these plays, and I am not cooking right now, hopefully I can turn things around soon.
