I think he would win in the biggest landside in US history, and I tend to side more to the republican view than the democrats.

I agree. He is probably one of the best politicians that my generation has seen. That's not necessarily a compliment, but the guy does the politicing almost flawlessly. I don't agree with what he says, but he has an uncanny ability to turn a room into putty.

The guy could have done great things for this country if the right wing got off his back for as few minutes. I find lying aboutthe reasons for war more important than lying about sex.

stevie,

you keep saying that bush lied.

but didn't the 911 commission, & a british commissions & another commission (forgot it's name) say that bush didn;t lie about iraq ?

instead the blame should go to the faulty intelligence that everybody was given.

Lets say they use any info to make war read the way they wanted. We will give them a pass on lies. Just never asked for the whole truth. But then there is this tax cut for the rich thing they keep the lie going.

AR, It is his job to see thru the faulty intelligence and explore every avenue before he puts our young in harms way and at best he failed at that.

I always thought it was his job to take in the information that his staff delivers to him and make the best decision based on the information he has in front of him.

Marine my daughter could read the reports he and his staff are charged with a higher responsibility than that. And if he thought Hussein had stockpiles of WMD and chemical weapons, and he obviously had no idea where they were, wasn't he being a bit reckless throwing all those bombs over there?

CTG as usual you offer nothing to defend you position. We all await the day you form an opinion and articulate a reason for it. Other than that you may continue with your name calling.

in tommy franks upcoming autobiography he states that just before the war started mubarak from egypt & the kingr from jordan told frank that saddam does have wmd's & will use them on the allied troops.

it seems that evey leader from bush & blair to the leaders from the middle east all thought that
saddam had wmd's.

also putin told bush twice that kgb had evidence that saddam was going to attack the u.s. british intelligence pretty much echoed what putin said.

it's funny that the same people that are criticizing bush for attacking bush would have criticized bush if he did nothing & the u.s. was attacked by saddam.

i wonder why kerry and edwards voted for the invasion?....were they also liars?......fools?....they were aware of the intelligence...

i agree it was on bush`s watch...he takes the flak...but,a liar?....c`mon...

stevie, that`s michael moore talking......howard dean....the great rev. al sharpton......i think this kind of stuff does your side more harm than good...

you know, the dems honestly could have had my ear....and many others...if they`d had more keynote speakers like obama and clinton........maybe joe lieberman and evan bayh....

not sharpton....dean....the bad kennedy(how pathetic is it that this clown is the surviving brother...fate has a cruel sense of humor).......jerkoff baltimore mayor o`malley and other extreme left wingers....giving moore a key floor position at the convention...

not talk about coming to the middle...actually come to the middle...kerry`s left wing voting record and the association with the bomb throwers says more than his lipservice to middle america....

and btw,
i still say...and will continue to say...that the book on iraqi wmd`s isn`t closed yet....it`s way to early to call the issue closed...with the possiblity of stuff still being buried...with the possibility that stuff got trucked out of country prior to the war....lord knows, there was plenty of time..thanks to the u.n.....

i still find no rational reason for saddam allowing himself to be taken out for nothing...all he had to do was open up....show how he disposed of the chemical weapons.....if he had nothing,why?.....

why?????

and while we`re talking impossibilities and improbablilities here, why not have colin powell run for the republicans?....at least as v.p.....or mccain.....you`re only one bad medical report for cheney away from having a major problem here......

now that would be interesting....

If I had to wager on who would win between Bush/Clinton I would wager on Clinton. He is probably the best pure politician of all time

and as I said many times the demographics of the U.S. is changing dramatically. 10 years from now I think it will be extremely hard for any conservative to get elected.

I think Clinton over Kerry would be a huge landslide for Clinton in a primary--basically because he would garner most of moderate dem votes.

While I admittedly am watching convension through biased eyes it appears to me that while they are trying to garner the moderates they are not doing to well with all their movie stars ect.
I think best speaker they had for the moderate voter is the young man from Illinios.

Been enjoying these little side interviews the most. One from writer from Boston paper that has followed Kerry noted he was homeless from the time he got divorced till his next marriage. Thought that was interesting.

My fav was interview with Del Sandusky as this military thing is most intriging to me.
Did anyone else see it? I will tryand cut and paste if it becomes available. You won't see it in any liberal paper I can guarantee you.It shed a little light on validity of his claims.
a couple case in points.
Was asked if some of footage from war shown at convention was filmed after the fact on reenactments. He claimed no, and only knew of a few cameras on board by personel.
Hmm Really then who took all these" 8mm films" of Kerry.
For the record I never saw anyone carry filming equipment except the press. Hope there is more on this later as I am curious of an explaination.

Was also asked if he had any resentment of serving full term there and Kerry bailing out in 4 months. He said Hell no anyone being SHOT 3 times deserves to go home. YES he said SHOT!!
So any info from this idiot wiill be dicounted by this one unless it can be proven by someone else.
Somehow I think we will see replay of this interview in the future ;)
