NBA hopeful Dee Brown sustained a broken right foot in pre-draft workouts on Wednesday and is expected to miss the next two months while recovering, the Chicago Tribune reports. According to the report, Brown is now likely to remove his name from the draft before the June 21 deadline and return to the University of Illinois for his senior season.
The injury makes an otherwise difficult decision much easier for Brown, who was headed for the second round and an unguaranteed contract. He'll likely see more time at point guard as a senior, the position where he is projected to play in the NBA.
