it's VERY early in this game...USC can cover - one TD doesn't change the fact that Oregon State is very overmatched on both sides of the ball...final score is what will count

Just curious if anyone has a record of ESPN home dogs during the week the past few years? Do they ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever lose???? I can't honestly remember the last time one lost. You would seriously be rich just betting home dogs on ESPN during the week. These teams NEVER lose ATS! Of course, I keep going against the trend.....

You're right. I started noticing this trend about 3 years ago, and one of my 'rules' is to never bet road teams during these weeknight games. It doesn't matter who the teams are, the road team very rarely covers.

I wish I had hard numbers, but I don't. I've asked the same question of others on this board, but I don't think anybody has any percentages. I would be stunned if it's less than 75% though, and I would venture to guess it's at least 80.

Having said all this, there's still a ton of time left in this game. OSU hasn't covered anything yet.

USC gives up 1.9 yds per rush average
ORE ST gives up 4.9 yds per rush average

What the hell are stats ever for?

This looks like a typical let down spot for a team coming off a BIG game....I didn't think USC would be "down" for this game since it's the Pac-10 opener and they lost here two years ago. I guessed wrong.....they look FLAT! They'll win this, but covering 25 is laughable at this point. Beavers look to go up 14-0 here pretty quick.

Best thing for us USC backers is to turn off the game...go do something else for a couple hours and come back to check the score. Usually when I do that good things happen.

what a dipshit move by oregon state. they only had to do 2 things. don't turn it over and dont take a sack. thats the kind of thing that will shift the momentum toward SC and never let it look back.
