Interesting election results from Tuesday night

To me the Ohio results indicated that many were willing to cross party lines and actually vote their minds. Kasich took SB5 just way too far. Many dems , as well as GOP voters found items in the bill that were fair. It was clearly a case of too much too soon for our wonderful governor.

I'm just curious on how those voters who supported repealing SB5 will feel when one of 2 inevitable things happens:

1. Taxes get significantly increased OR
2. People get laid off in the union sector.

Not enough money - so it seems those are the only 2 options.

A better way to have the vote would have been to say "you agree to vote to overturn SB5 and at the same time, you personally are agreeing to pay more tax to fill the needed budget deficit to pay for overturning the bill".

Too many people are too dumb to understand that, with elections, come consequences.

Nobody in OH better bitch about raising taxes or seeing their friends laid off. This is a self inflicted wound.
