FOX news???

FOX news???

c'mon, does anybody take FOX news seriously?????

its nothing more than a mouthpiece for Rupert Murdoch and the right wing whacko's he supports.

getting your news from fox is like reading comic books in a literature class.

A person out of uniform can be treated as a spy. Most case they are. This is a rule of war for along time. Im guessing some of the Iraqie soldiers were never told this. They can be shot and quickly.
A soldier in uniform is protect by the geneva rules of war.
Fair in war is the chance one side or both are willing to take.
I do not believe some here think they would not use every possiable way to defend our America if invaded. I for one would do anything. Period.
At the same time I have to understand Iraqis may do the same. I also believe I would have been trained to understand it could happen, and how to deal with it as best possiable.
I think to many here think the Iraqis were just waiting for us to arrive so they could have parades and kiss are hands. There are some that may feal that way. But there is a chit load that dont.
Sorry I must ad I must watch CNN. I see differant view points than FOX. I here them say fair and balanced. I believe by Watching Both I get a better pitcure. And get closer to fair. If I was more off center to the right. I would love FOX becasue they would tell be everyday what I wanted to here. I think that would leave me bored and not informed.

i guess it`s o.k.,then

i guess it`s o.k.,then

to take the gloves off and execute all prisoners..it looks like they have already addressed that issue.....you can`t pick and choose rules of war.....that is why there is a geneva convention.....even in war, there have to be rules of engagement.....it seems that we are the only ones that adhere to these conditions........and still we are taking a p.r. beating......at some point, probably after we take a large casualty hit based on some cowardly, devious tactic,we will decide to take the gloves off.....if not...if we continue fighting in this sanitary manner and have to go house to house trying to determine who is a threat and who is not,we may not succeed....,

This is sounding more and more like Vietnam. We are playing by a different set of rules than our enemy. Why? Because the world opinion expects us to play by the rules whether our enemies do or do not. Fewer Iraq citizens are being killed now than would normally be executed in a week with Saddam running wild. Combine the executions with the people that would normally die of hunger, and Iraq is heading for a population explosion if things continue this way. An Iraqui citizen has never been safer.

ferdville, lets see - war by presidential decree as opposed to congressional declaration; public divided in support; anti-war demonstrations; surprisingly resistant enemy fighting unconventional war; divided world opinion; opponent's leader bloodthristy despot; theater of war a powderkeg for competing world interests; war progress slower than anticipated looking like potential quagmire. what makes you think this war is starting to resemble vietnam?
