I'm not brainwashed brother, there are still people I don't like here. I'm not taking any sides at all. I don't care if someone posts what they eat or where, how does that shit affect me? I don't read every thread anyway.

Pho is a beef. Eating a bowl of pho with prawns, clams, or oysters is just wrong! It's like putting mustard on lasagna. Wrong is wrong. You can't just say, "I love prawns on everything."

I seem to remember when you went on and on in numerous posts calling me a fake and a liar about serving in the military. You even went as far as saying my military ID was fake and wanting me to post more proof. And you say you're not abrasive.................yeah right that's a joke.
So as I am wont to do, I asked two friends of Vietnamese descent for their expert opinions.
The non-academic stated, "Pho typically is a beef based soup with chicken or beef".
The academic, on the other hand, said, "Pho basically translates into noodle soup. The classic version is beef broth, flat rice noodles (sometimes medium width, sometimes wider), and various types of raw beef (tripe, steak flank, beef balls). The alternate version for Buddhists (and there are a lot of Viet Buddhists) is chicken broth with strips of chicken.
But due to globalization and migration, there are of course Asian fusion (e.g. Tom Yum broth), vegetarian, and pescatarian approaches to pho, which this person is complaining about (prawns, oysters). Nobody owns pho. Pho is what you make of it depending on your palate and dietary restrictions. So tell this person to fuck it. He/She cannot own and determine what Pho should be."
BTW, most pho places that I've been to have also offered the seafood version. Just sayin'....

What! Who the fuck told you Pho is what you make it. Fuck that, man. You don't doctor up a good bowl of Pho with sea creatures. There are other soups for that. But not Pho. It pisses me off to see people ruin Pho by putting too much shit in it. When in Rome, do what the Romans do. When eating Pho, look and see how the fucking Vietnamese are eating it. I bet my left ball that they're not putting prawns in their bowl of Pho.
