I've lost all respect for GSP

You know, I've never really liked GSP because I thought he was fake. Came off as a nice guy but I got annoyed by his complaints for his losses. However, I was always able to respect that he was a good fighter.

With that being said, after hearing all these comments from BJ Penn's camp, and most importantly former opponents such as Mayhem Miller, Sherk, Serra all saying that they thought GSP was greasing just pisses me off.

I thought maybe it was a corner thing or something of that nature. However, the fact that several fighters have all claimed that GSP greased leaves me to believe that there's validity and consistancy to it. So don't give me the "excuses" or "sore loser" comment because if people keep saying it, they aren't just making it up 100%...lets be real

There are video's of it against BJ and Matt Serra...video's that nobody can refute.

It should also be noted that Tito Ortiz accused Rashad of the same thing in the interview after their fight.

The NSAC's Kizer said they saw it between rounds 2 and 3 after someone pointed it out. They whipped him down, but when you see him whipe GSP down, it looks like whiped him down instead of rubbing him down.

There's video of his cornerman doing it in the PENN/SERRA fight, but Miller + Sherk have said they thought he was greasing.

I am not making excuses for BJ Penn. He lost, got his ass kicked. However, it doesn't change the fact that what they were doing is clearly cheating and it makes the sport look really bad. People will compare it to Maragito or whatever the hell his name is.

i remember while watching the fight, thinking "why do penn's legs keep slipping off?" i bet on penn, and was glad to see him wrap his legs right around the armpit area of gsp, but was upset when they inexplicably rolled off every time, this can be partially explained by gsp's superior strength, but this issue can't be brushed off.

this is a big issue imo.

I'll admit, I didn't know anything until after the fight. I did know that when I look back, I said to myself in the 1st round after BJ had that rubber guard in that GSP just got out of it easy. I didn't think of anything at the time, but hindsight is pretty relevant..

This whole issue just makes me laugh. I mean do you really think GSP has been full of vaseline, WD 40, KY Jelly, Quaker State, or whatever for all his fights....I mean please.

Everyone except Bucs likes GSP, and if you think the only reason GSP is number 1 MMA fighter on the planet is because he's a vaseline whore then you have about the same IQ as a 1 month fetus.

This is exactly what I expected. I expected a "it wouldn't make a difference, GSP is great," response. That's not the point Kickserv...

The point is, he cheated. It doesn't matter if you win, lose, or draw. The fact of the matter is that GSP and his cornermen are greasing their guys. It makes a difference.

Tito claimed he thought Rashad was greasing
Hughes, Miller, Penn, Sherk, and Serra all claim that they thought GSP was greased. What gives? Do you think every fighter was just making it up? COME ON, YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN IQ OF A 1MONTH FETUS to believe that.

The big question is why have none of these fighters brought it up to the refs during the fight???
If GSP is oiled up then I would think it would be easy to spot or feel for a ref(would it not).
Kind of like greasing the baseball, someone has to ask to check it during the game.NOT AFTER.

You guys are complete idiots. The NSAC is the ones who caught him and his corner. I don't give a damn what a referee see's. They're there to ref the fight. If Kizer and the NSAC says he was greasing and there's video's of his corner doing it, the proof is irrefutable.

Penn has been quoted as saying the vaseline had no effect on the outcome of the fight, so for the people attacking him for making excuses is b.s. (not here, but elsewhere)..

According to JD Penn, the complaint was filed in hopes that the athletic commission will tighten up their standards AND so this shit wont happen again.... this makes perfect sense b/c if Hughes would have filed a complaint instead of waiting until now to take shots at GSP then this shit would have been cleared up a while ago..

kickserv is right, Hughes is full of it....... for a guy that says anything and everything he wants, he never mentioned that GSP greased against him two times in a row...

and yes, it's cheating, but i blame it on the cornerman not GSP...... I think the cornerman should be punished accordingly b/c the vaseline was on his fingers, not kickserv's.... i mean not GSP's

Maybe GSP just wants to be lubed and ready at all times in case the mood hits Kickserv.

If GSP corner was indeed doing this then GSP had to know. Not sure UFC would ever suspend GSP these days. NSAC won't come down on him for this.
