Congratulations. I fear I'll be working until they bury me

You and your wife are both professionals and make a good buck. There is no reason you can't retire early or on time. #1 Get a financial planner. Thats tuff... I want to know their track record. There are good people out there....but just like in sports wagering >> very few.... #2 no brainer. Buy rental property that is guaranteed to rent...... don't buy junk People with money will always have money..... so have something they want. My properties are the best in my area. They are not cheap but i am never vacant more than a few weeks. University or college area....... Make your rental Eye Candy Big screen TV ,,,,, Direct TV Internet.. Jacuzzi Make every ones Jaw drop..Every body will want it just a matter of who can afford it...there will always be be students. I had a couple from Saudi that wd have paid for 4 years up front at the start. You rent right u will never have collection problems as you do with low or marginal rentals... One of these days we will l have to re visit your triad that Vincenzo is masturbating over... and making a milky mess...,.

On the course!
Eric: If you are up for it, we should meet up and play this summer. My course has a one day Member Guest on Saturday 6/25. I'll pay your entry if you make the trip, and you can stay at my place.

Gary, I am out at the course, and the calendar shows our member guest is that Sunday. I appreciate the offer though! That was very nice of you.

congrats on retirement

30 is a long time with one co.

I have spoken to a lot of retired people in the last few years. Most say they wish they would have stayed working as after a few months they go stir crazy. Most say they work part time doing something. I will probably have a welding shop to make things and sell.

good luck on your next life.

I love golfing all summer, and I might take up fishing again. (MIGHT!)

In the Winter, I can go back and work as a Limited Term Employee, so I won't be bored to death.

I think boredom is what kills people off early. I won't do that.

Today was a blast! Shot 81 on the course, and will play again tomorrow.
