He doesn't call the plays, the OC does. Now that said, it was very disappointing to see the same ultra-conservative crap calls (3 runs into the line and then a tight window pass on 4th down). The new OC had been showing more imagination this season...until that critical series. I still believe Penn State is a playoff team that can win a game (or two) in the playoffs.
