he`s another 9/11 truther.....too many chairs to the head,i guess...

why didn`t he run?...he seems to have lots of opinions about politics and politicians(mostly slurs)....

Yeah I am not much for his 9-11 beliefs..
He didn't run because he was sick and tired of the beuracracies and red tape. He was too stressed out by politicians (Dems and Reps Alike) I have listened to interviews about this subject a few times. He probably likes living the high life and taking it easy. Regardless of what anybody thinks this man is very intelligent and talented. From being a US navy seal, to wrestler (Actor), and actually acted in movies (not well), to Vikings commentator, to governor. I am sure there are many other things I missed but at least the man speaks his mind. He doesn't try to kiss ass

after reading this,i was done with ventura...

""If you took a billiard ball and dropped it from the height of the World Trade Center in a vacuum it would hit the ground in 9.3 seconds and if you took that same billiard ball and dropped it 10 stories at a time and merely stopped it and started it it would take 30 seconds - if you dropped it every floor of the World Trade Center to the ground, simply stopping and starting it on gravity it would take over 100 seconds to reach the ground," .....

huh?....

what is it with knuckleheads who seem to believe this garbage?.... is no one sane?

this stuff gets annoying...and dangerous to the country. ....

i`m not totally against libertarians...but this crap is beyond the pale for me...

Will listen to this - as always with Ventura, he's good entertainment. I would not go as far as to call him intelligent - quite the opposite in many situations - but he is a galvanizing figure. If you listened to him on his daily radio show for any length of time, you would know he does not have command of many basic issues, and his outlook on women, and other more sensitive issues are at times pretty ignorant.

I think in general he did a fairly good job as Governor, because he had no one to answer to - and reveled in that. He was dangerous for everyone, all the time, and unpredictable. My main problems with him are his lack of intelligence (my opinion) and his desire for the limelight and confrontation. I think many times he governed just to irritate people, and made policy to do the same and ruffle feathers. Not always a bad thing as it turns out, and I wish we had more people like that as legislators.

I believe his ignorance is more about his stubborness and values not his intelligence..

Maybe so - but I don't usually lump together those things/qualities, personally. I (rightly or wrongly) take measure from what I see and hear, and learn about a person. I would rate Ventura and Dubbya Bush very similar in that they spend a lot of time trying to "explain" things or "teach" people in very simplistic terms about a situation, to the point of looking simplistic in doing it. And when pressured, or questioned, they both become agitated, and either confrontational or dismissive.

I always put too much emphasis on how someone communicates - and that is not necessarily the right way to measure intelligence. Many people have a hard time with that, and are very intelligent. I just don't rate Ventura in that category. I think his lack of intelligence shows up pretty often, actually.

every conservative has to like hannity and limbaugh in the moonbat`s limited world.....you have no idea what i watch or read....

that`s why i never make such stupid comments...you never hear me say,"spongy/trampled/trench are so far up olbermann and his nephew maddow`s arse`s they can taste shampoo".....

i never say that kind of stuff...`cause i don`t know(beyond a reasonable doubt).......

/RON PAUL..LEADING FROM THE FRINGE!

You spout the same ole silly nonsense. I could be wrong tho cause i have seen Olberman get a hold of the GOP talking points for the day and then he cuts to the Republicans and will show all these silly assholes all saying the same exact thing for that day. Word for word like they are coming up with the shit on their own. He will show about 15 Republicans that day all saying the same shit were ever the stupid assholes may be :mj07: :mj07:

Man isn't a genius, no doubt there... But it seems like you and DTB would appreciate people like Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura for disliking the current System. Die-hard Republicans and Democrats will go to no end attack each other, but both sides secretly 'get off' on the system as a whole.

I can appreciate some beliefs from both sides of the "aisle", but will almost always support outsiders who are critical of the system as a whole. That's why I love Paul and Ventura even if they are "wingnuts" in some areas. I'll take a wingnut over the same ole breed that has been focking things up over and over. ANYTHING is better than what we have.

Bill Maher, Jon Stewart and David Letterman are all more relevant critics of the right than Olbermann or Maddow. And they're sure as hell more entertaining.

im...youre a level headed dude...let me ask you....do you believe that "we","bush","the joos" were behind the 9/11 attacks?.....

and how can anyone explain, much less rationalize the thought process of anyone who actually believes this pipe dream?...

"If you took a billiard ball and dropped it from the height of the World Trade Center in a vacuum it would hit the ground in 9.3 seconds and if you took that same billiard ball and dropped it 10 stories at a time and merely stopped it and started it it would take 30 seconds - if you dropped it every floor of the World Trade Center to the ground, simply stopping and starting it on gravity it would take over 100 seconds to reach the ground," he surmised...

i still can`t believe this quote....the only conclusion i can come to is that the billiard ball in question struck this individual's head about 20 or 30 times.....
