IT'S OFFICIAL.. "The Most Rmarkable Thread" (in the history of this forum?) trophy goes to HOGMAN! [/size]
Congratulations, HM.
I can NOT believe that a simple,"Still cruising around. Hope all is well my man" post has over
800 hits. Not even a pick! And so short. Just unreal.
Yeah, yeah, I did make a few picks and did good, BUT get this -----> about 200 of them came AND WENT since the last REPLY... LOL AND .... .. . Philly hasn't run a race in 2 days, and thems are still coming in here? And running out faster than they came in too. :mj07:
And.. the only sound in this forum is coming from the door of this thread continually getting opened and closed. Other than that, the place is absolutely deserted. :scared
This is something else.
OK, guess I better write something more worthwhile in here or members are gonna get pissed. Normally, I'd start a new thread, but I AIN'T TOUCHING A THING in here... I wanna see how long the craziness continues and makes my friend's, Hogman, thread record unbeatable. Maybe after JUST changing the date/time on this post will take it over 1000 views HM. :jump:
Saturday's card at Phlily
Sat. is Pennsylvania Derby Day. Even worser, the other races will also have
real RACE hosses in them too.
These kinda races AIN'T my specialty and MJ can testify to that too. Gotta mention one thing though - I can't count up the no. of hoss waces I've watched and in all them races I'm pretty sure I hit only 2 or 3 winnahs that paid $90+. One reason for that is because my first 20+ YEARS (yeah, I started young
) was N.Y. wacin and I focused on FAVORITES. BUT, my biggest weiner was in one of the biggest races for the year and I nailed it alright - the BELMONT Stakes. I picked one hoss, and Sireva paid well over $100. Go figure.
BTW, that one was much easier to pick than the others.
Mostly writing this to save the window shoppers from stopping in here on Sat. I'll prob. play a few races, but I don't like the idea of maybe losing other peoples moola. Just not confident bout picking fast horses on Philly's track. New jockeys, trainers, owners, HOSSES doesn't help either. Gimme them Philly broken down, dirt bombs ANY day. IF I do SEE a "10" on the track (they can show up in these kinda races) and one of the folks in here that I know are interested in Philly, I'll post it. But chances are none will show up on Sat. A "10" (shows
EXTRA sharpness in the prerace) is rare.
