I'm not going to worry about embarrassing myself with this question guys. This question doesn't relate to getting a less then optimal line like this game. How often are you making bets based on line movement? Maybe I'm naive but I feel like some of the best handicappers out there are here on MJ. So who's better out there effecting a line movement that would entice us here to jump on a game based on line movement? Im assuming line moves are based upon big money coming down on side so then people follow that side with worse number. Are we handicapping often just based on line moves, or using these just in certain scenarios?Ohio -6.5/3.5 7/4
My dumbass waited on this one too. So also played
Notre Dame/Ohio +105 6x
I know I loved it at 2.5 and played it in bowl contests but then watched 3, 3.5, 4, 5, 6 and passed. Annoying.Ohio -6.5/3.5 7/4

Appreciate it. I love it here...Jord, I cannot express my thanks to you. You sit here and just constantly throw out winners all over the place in every sport and expect nothing in return. I spend the day and night following your posts and gathering these winners and putting them in my basket and reaping the rewards. Happy Holidays to You and your Family and THANK YOU from little old me to MY HERO!
Looks precarious... would start stretching the sphincters..Bout to get backdoored, aren’t we?

Steam chasing will get you absolutely killed these days... it maybe worked 10-15 years ago when the lines weren't as sharp, so you had room. Nowadays, you have to get a good number, or you have no shot long-term.I'm not going to worry about embarrassing myself with this question guys. Great, that's what I was hoping. Thanks Jord 😊Steam chasing will get you absolutely killed these days... it maybe worked 10-15 years ago when the lines weren't as sharp, so you had room. Nowadays, you have to get a good number, or you have no shot long-term.
that said, I definitely watch the line moves and try to make sense of the 'why' and even the 'who' is moving it - but it's not a big part of my handicapping
True. Good points. Well stated. With the added AI technology when analyzing games the lines are getting sharper everywhere.Steam chasing will get you absolutely killed these days... it maybe worked 10-15 years ago when the lines weren't as sharp, so you had room. Good luck with Irish! Do you think the Mustangs can keep up with Penn St tomorrow!?Almost flipped at half - should have as Tulane was lucky to only be down 6 and this qb is a deer in headlights. Oh well... juiced out on the game.
Let's go Irish... world seems to be on Indy tonight, so we shall see
