You don?t know Turgeon. He is a foul mouth prick. I sat courtside for an A&M game a few years back, he was unbelievable. Dude can?t be liked too much by fans or players.

Howard had made up his mind to walk past the extended hand but Gard just couldn't resist that "Last Word".
Howard should be suspended ....ya can't be acting the fool in front of your kids...

Badgers coach Greg Gard said he called it because his reserves were in the game and were running out of time to get the ball past midcourt.

this hardly reads like old school was justifying howard's actions. i think the point was gard acted like a prick at howard's kids' expense, then grabbed howard when he tried to walk past, then the asst coach got his mouth into the action. thats not justifying. but it is mitigating.
he'll at least be suspended, and i'll bet michigan the first game it happens expecting his players to have his back. it was a bad moment for howard, but we remember bobby knight, or even lefty driesell. he was trying to stand up for what he perceived (and anyone who ever played would perceive) his players being shown up in an unsportsmanlike way.

Not justifying either coaches actions..
one coach stuck it to another and tempers got the best of them..
Howard did not apologize or take responsibility for his actions. At least he didn?t yell out ? I am going to f?ing going to kill you? like he did to Turgeon.
