I personally think it was just the excuse to get him out. He wasn't ALL UFC all the time. Fox didn't like it and fired him and the UFC doesn't want him around.

Actually Fox loved him, Zuffa said to fire him and Fox had no choice. If Fox didn't fire him Zuffa would have shut Fox out, hence no choice.

KIMBO SLICE DIED

http://www.tmz.com/2016/06/06/kimbo-slice-dead-dies/

He sucked as an MMA fighter, although have to hand it to him for being terrible at his sport yet making decent money off of it. He seemed like a good dude. He was also involved in the worst fight in history of combat sports (vs. Dhafir Harris), so always good to go down in history for something. One of the worst most over-hyped athletes in the history of mankind. But he knew how to market himself, you have to hand it to him for that.

read that Ariel has been UNBANNED

http://www.canada.com/sports/banned...ishment+from+future+shows/11968620/story.html

Not really.........

White told TMZ that Helwani would never receive media credential from UFC but that he would not be banned from attending shows. ?He can cover all the events he wants, he just can?t have a credential,? White was quoted. Asked to clarify if that meant Helwani could buy a ticket, White said yes. He also said Helwani would never be issued a media pass ?as long as I?m here.?

Looks like MJ's reporter Kickserv jumped the gun. Arial would've reported better!

Maybe Fox liked him but Zuffa wanted him out before the Brock announcement. He's an MMA guy not a UFC guy.

IMO Kimbo is the perfect example of what many fans want. The "mythological" fighter. Someone who looks like he would rip your head off if you ever met him. Pride was full of characters like that and the UFC used to have more of them. I'm not saying they were good fighters but there is part of MMA for fans that is closer to the WWE rather than collegiate wrestling.

He was also a good dude, nobody in the industry had anything bad to say about him when it came to him as a person.
