Not really. If a sick kid puts the head phones on and has Death Metal cranked up to 12 for 16 hours a day is a lot different than a normal kid listening to Pink Floyd while doing his homework.

So, if it's your type of music, there have to be underlying causes for anti-social behavior.
I am not saying my type of music is ok and you better not listen to that other stuff. Look. Some people can eat a donut for breakfast, have a milk shake with lunch, have dessert after supper and not gain a pound. Other people not so lucky. What I am saying is that everyone has a different tolerance to things.
I can bet every day, so far it has not caused me any problems. Other people cannot handle it.

Of the young heavy metal fans in this picture,
three are now dead; four are on trial charged with murder; one is serving 19 years; two more of their friends are serving long prison sentences. They were called the Beasts of Satan and their story has gripped Italy for more than a year. This World asks how much did their addiction to satanic Death Metal music influence their descent into torture, sacrifices and murder?
?No-one can contradict me when I say that Heavy Metal and Satanism are closely linked. They go hand in hand, they?re inseparable. The parents of Elyse Marie Pahler took Slayer to a California court in a failed attempt to ban the sale of this kind of music to children, after their daughter was murdered by Slayer fans obsessed with Satanism.:scared

How about being taught how to kill at an early age? How about the TV shows? I say no to all of it. When you are mentally psychotic you are mentally psychotic regardless. People who get voices in their head are getting them even if they listen to Jim Neighbors all day

OK i also noticerd one confirmed report of known psycholigist at stanford sayinmg it's the mentally ill kids that need to be kept away from death metal music it has a severe cause and effect with them
I personally believe that if you think music and video games are to blame for mass shootings by kids.....then you are disconnected from reality and only have a Fox News/CNN window in which to view the world.

You are a dozen years older than I, so there is a small gap that I was too young to remember between us and I do recall my younger years to be a simpler less politically aggressive time. I also remember being in school during desegregation of the Chicago schools. Racial tensions from some were likely never really resolved i suppose for some people I don't know really. I think there are certainly those that take the whole "racist" thing to far and some seem a bit too sensitive to it
