So much for Zach Johnson having a let down :scared

These 2 par 5's on the front 9 are a complete joke.

Good fade on Canizares Stan. I like the guys talent, hes made 9 out of 12 cuts.. he just doesnt seem interested on playing on the pga tour. He qualified in Q School.. and for some reason he spends most of his time on the euro tour. Either way hes a tremendous prospect.

Anyone pay attention to the nationwide tour? Skip shot 9 under and is going to be a few strokes back :mj07:

Webb Simpson is another young guy who will be a legit star on the PGA tour.

Safe to say Zach is still hot.. I mean he closed last weekend in 62 64 :scared

Big turn around

Big turn around

Not so fast on Canizares fade.

First nine : + 5. (started with 2 double bogeys in first three holes)

Last nine : - 6. (five birdies then finished with an eagle)

Yea, maybe spoke too soon. Kid is ultra talented. 6 under on the back with a bogey.

Really surprising Jason Day is so far down on the money list.

Great round by Chez. I need to bet these as first rounds instead of 72ers. A little shocked with how well Parker hit it. I had this capped as a MC vs a guy in the mid 50/60.

Should be interesting with so many low 60 scores in round 1, to see if those guys can break the mold and go low again.

Going here with the consensus. He was already capped up for the play, as was Gronberg. I was going to take a flyer on Gronberg, but he was not offered at my place.

BVP to win 46.00 sia

Goggin over Elkington -110, 72 holes. Goggin is playing very steady right now, while Elk can go from low to high in one easy lesson.

Very good pick thru round 1 Tommy. That low round by Elk had me worried. :toast:

going with this 4 player parlay, these 1st round matchups weren't even close hoping for more of the same today:

Mahan ov love -160
D. Wilson ov henry -145
Hoffman ov oberholser -145
Johnson ov Herron -170

70 to win 445

What do you think the cut will be here? My guess is if the weather conditions are similar, it could reach -6. :scared

Really need my 2 72 holers to cash..

I like Pat Perez a lot here. Guy lives in the desert, only scare is being so close to casinos. He has been playing really well of late.

Should be interesting who they match up with Azinger and Orbelhoser

Glad they didnt offer Azinger in any bets. He came in complaining that he hadn't played much at all, and that his hand was hurting. I would have lost a ton on this one. Nice playing so far Zinger :00hour

Shocking that TA3 withdraws from a vegas event..my guess is due to a huge hangover.
This guys lifestyle makes John Dalys look tame.
Armour III, who dresses flashy and parties even flashier, annually throws a pre-tournament bash that has featured near-naked women as sushi platters, great entertainment, and a guest list that is a who's who of the PGA Tour and the Dallas area.

Interesting round by Reavie.. no pars on the front :0corn That bogey on 4 was brutal.. i decided

Well I need mahan to find a way to out score love on these last two holes, they are both -4 thru 16. I am hoping the bogey by hunter on the par 5 doesn't cost me.

Fawking mahan puts it in the water on 17, there goes that parlay, plus I had him in a conditional bet with dean wilson with mahan listed first, so by him losing first, the wilson bet doesn't get played. That was costly, Thanks Mahan.

At least he bogeyed giving me a slight hope, he needs to birdie it and I just have to hope love pars it. Now down one w/ one to play.

Come on mahan

Check out chorpas scorecard.. I had a feeling he would go low today.. seems like he really loves these fall series events
http://www.pgatour.com/players/02/08/50/scorecards/2008/r047.html

:scared :scared

Probably the best way to win a bet.. He was 4 under coming to the last hole. Sutherland finished 5 under.. then this
Play by Play for the Par 5, 563 yards 9th Hole
X
Shot 1 303 yds to right fairway, 256 yds to hole
Shot 2 in the hole

Typical. Bertsch played great yesterday and now can't hit a shot to save his life. Oh well.. here we go again :00x25

33% of fairways 29% of greens.. after purring it yesterday. go from 4 up to 1 down in 8 holes

All of that craziness for a push.. :sadwave: Would have been nice if a top 10 putter on tour would make a putt, but it is what it is. Hope to hit the Reavie play.

:dizzy: Golf'd out.. not gonna look at a line or the scoreboard until Sunday night. GL
