This should be a very good game, as reflected by the point spread which is basically even. However, Notre Dame seems to be hitting on all cylinders!
And they just beat a Georgia team, that is much better than the two teams Penn State has beaten. I'm not too impressed with SMU or Boise. I suppose
that doesn't really mean a whole lot. The decided factor for me is the HC. I think the world of Marcus Freeman and his coaching in the Georgia game was
a major contributing factor in that win. On the other side is James Franklin, who in my humble opinion, is just a terrible coach. Some of the things he's
done in recent years is beyond comprehension. In the Boise game, he went for it on 4th and one from his own 30-yard line with a 14-point lead! Now you
can cut that up any way you want, but just plain stupidity is what comes to my mind!
That's enough for me to bet on the Irish.

We're getting bullied up front in 1H CD....Need to throw it on first down and make adjustments (hopefully) before getting behind on the sticks. I do like our new QB...looked very composed and looks to be a better passer than the ex Dookie ( I couldn't resist). Allar lost that game, from the little bit i saw and watched this morning. I was in the bowels of air travel. So sick of all the flights, I wore a mask. Everyone was sick, blowing their Snots-sola , hacking, sneezing. I was eating my protein bowl as far away from all these dirty animals as possible, and two young ladies 10 yards away on both sides , were blowing 100 yards( satisfy kickserve in football forum) of snot eternally out of their nose. Going to make me consider early retirement. Gross... I digress, in any event, he didn't connect ti a receiver again, and those INTS, what does Franklin do with that? I don't agree that ND coach is the best, dude is cool , reminds me of a younger modern thinking Tomlin.

Hahaahahah. That sounds all very depressing !!!! Commercial travel definitely is not what it used to be. But then again. What is these days ?!!! Yea allar had a bad game. But 30 seconds left on your own thirty and theyre calling drop back passes. No way. Too risky and they got burned. Run a screen. Swing pass. Etc. especially since he was having a bad game. Anyway. I never claimed and I never said that Franklin lost that game. I just claim he is not a good coach. I've seen enough of his fuk-ups over the years, to make that claim. I was just giving my reason for taking ND (actually, betting against Penn State because of Franklin) in a game that I felt was a very even game. And it didn't take long to see it in this game...in the 1st Quarter the Penn State player fielded a punt on the two-yard line?? Are you kidding me? Now...I know Franklin didn't field that punt and maybe the guy made a mistake catching the ball on the frickin two-yard line, but there is absolutely no excuse for that. In my mind, that is coaching! Should Drew Allar be throwing the ball, over the middle and under stress, with a minute left in a tie game? I know James Franklin did not throw the ball, but...😵‍💫
