I want you to prepare yourself for the following statement as it comes from a lifelong, black and gold bleeding, live and die with my team Penguins fan.........I would rather see the Flyers win the Cup than the Caps. The thought of Ovechkin's name on the Cup just turns my stomach.
Sadly, I think you can go ahead and plan the parade as this is just the caps year. The Pens can't stop you, we just have too many injuries and certainly without Letang the Caps will just be too much for us this year as I don't know how we keep the puck out of our own end all night long.
It's the Caps Cup this year, dammit.

A 2-1 lead is fun, but I'd still say the Caps are the favorite to win. I like that the Leafs are putting some doubt in their heads, though.

So, at -110 they are still the betting favorite, right? I'll take that bet as it's a no lose situation for me. I win an easy $100 or I pay $110 to see the Caps lose......win/win.
I don't believe in any of the jinx stuff, all I know is the Caps are the better team and the winner of the Caps/Pens series wins the Cup. Without Letang I think we are in trouble.
Make no mistake about it, I am openly rooting against the Caps all along the way no matter who they play. I'm not sure I could have been more clear about that at any point.
Jinx or no jinx, we hate the Caps here in Pittsburgh, and for good reason.

Good luck, I have no real attachment to the Caps. Weren't they 'supposed' to win it all last year and got knocked out round 1?
In term of odds they were 2nd pick (+450 odds right before playoff started) to win it all last year. This season they were the faves to win it all before the season started and before the playoffs started.
