Kids These Days.....

Pictures from my golf course this morning. Four high school boys rented carts to golf late yesterday afternoon. I've long been an advocate for renters to be at least 18, for this exact reason. Kids enjoy fucking around on shit they don't own.

Using video footage, the course staff had a fairly good idea who the perpetrators were, but were not 100% certain. Thankfully, these dumbasses posted it on social media with photos of them sitting on the roof of one of the carts! Police hauled them in, and I hope the get charged for the max they can get, and their parents can pay the estimated $9,000 in damages.

You can’t rent a cart at my club unless you’re 18, and they prefer the members not let their kids under 16 drive carts, but don’t have a specific rule stating that.
My 15 year old son knows whatever the law would do to him if he was stupid enough to do something like this wouldn’t be near what he’d deal with at home.

Is this the course that’s right on 151?

Turns out the cops know these little assholes. The ringleader has been suspended from school several times, I guess. When they left the course, someone reported to the police that they almost plowed into them!

We were raised different from these kids. And, yes. It's the course on 151. Rolling Meadows.

So far so good with my 15 year old and his buddies. All good students, they all have part time jobs and play all the sports. Has a girlfriend, too, who helps keep him
In check.
He was on the JV golf team last fall and plans on playing next fall as well. Wish he’d listen more to his coaches and me about improving his golf game, but if this is the worst problem I have with him as a teen….
Pictures looked familiar. Been a few years since I’ve played there. My cousin who used to live in Plymouth now lives down in West Allis.
