actually Cousins has to ask himself..

"why in the hell didn't I go free agent..

conceivable he goes the next 3 season without being in on 100 snaps..

probably not given the extensive data on running QB's and injury..

but still possible ..

Cousins contract

5/31/2012: Signed a four-year, $2,572,688 contract. The deal included a $472,688 signing bonus. 2012: $390,000, 2013: $480,000, 2014: $570,000, 2015: $660,000, 2016: Free Agent

why would the skins get rid of him when RG3 is at minimum going to get banged up every year?

And thus far Cousins has proven to be a good back up taking into account pre season which is different from the regular season. He has played 1 good reg season game, doesn't mean too much unless he continues given the opportunity.

Back ups are very tough to have, especially quality ones. When was the last time WASH had a decent backup? When Kilmer & Jurgensen were there?

How about when the Packers went to the Super Bowl? Had Rodgers, but also Flynn as a BU, now he's a bench warmer in Seattle, LOL.

Eagles had Kolb behind McNabb, then that scenario blew up in Andy's face like everything else has!
