Klitschko fight on at 430 Eastern?

disappointing finish by thompson. for all the talk about being broke and being sent by god to win this, he pretty much gave up after 6. he was hitting many solid shots, and klitschko was breathing very heavily in the mid-rounds, thompson replied by doing nothing and letting klit catch his breath and fight at a slow place. cortez was letting thompson get away with low blows and rabbit punches in close, klit was visinly bothered by some of thompsons early punches



the only thing that saves this weekend is if sikahema beats canseco. think about how pathetic that situation is.

I feel ya Romi- That was overall pathetic- thank goodness for the lower weight classes. Thompson was looking for a way out the last few rounds... he got tired after 6 or 7 and folded, but it was still evident to me Klit does not like to get hit. Klit waited till he was absolutely certain that Thompson was dead in there before he grew a pair....Klit plays it safe but he and Emmanuel know what's best for him and how to win.

and the hbo crew totally mssed that wlad`s cut was caused by a punch....when they showed the replay of the headbutt,the cut was al;ready there clear as a bell....

2 defensive minded fighters....and thompson is just downright lazy....

have to give klit a little credit.....when thompson looked like he`d clearly given up,klit stepped on the gas a bit....when he knew it was relatively safe...

klit is very,very careful....imo,mentally,he`s very cognizant that his chin is an achilles heel...

he has so much physical ability...looks like a god...

but,something`s not there...

Have to say I was impressed by Thompson's overall performance. Klitscho does not look like a great champion like some of the others we have had in the past - maybe that's why the heavyweights are so boring to watch. I think that 7'2 guy Valuev will give him a run for his money if they ever get to fight.

I ran out so i taped this fight to realize it didn't tape so i couldn't come to the board:mj07:
, and had to watched it at ten eastern and i saw the same fight most of you saw. I just can't stand watching a boxer pull this lazy stuff. Does this guy know what an impact this win would make in his life? My goodness what a lazy fighter. Klitz is the same fighter i always thought he was. Overrated.
