On the course!
One of the old guys at our course can't play in cold weather anymore because of how cold his knee gets.

No, the older model actually connects to your shin bone (Tibia) They screw that thing right in.to your leg.

All I have is the old X-Ray from it

I will say it was a lot more pleasant than the hip replacement.

His replacement knee? A replacement knee can feel hot and cold?

Who wants to play in the cold anyway

He does.

But, even if not golfing, it would still get cold outside. I guess it beats having a shitty knee.

Seems like there's an idea for an invention unless they have knee warmers. They should. Wireless heating pad hooked to your solar chip on the bill of your hat.

One is the other is non weight bearing for 4 months thats the one I'm putting off as long as possible. Wearing out that's all!

Non weight bearing is a bitch. I broke my calcaneus (heel bone) a couple years ago and I had to go about 2 months no weight bearing. That was a bitch.

I had to get one of these things. A life saver.

Outpatient? I hope I'm not going need anything.

Knees are simple these days are a piece of cake. They can replace the whole knee in an outpatient setting and you’re home in a few hours.

you smoke if I remember correctly, so it may be a bigger deal for you.

How do I know if can have an outpatient knee replacement?

Patients who are in good general health, do not smoke, are motivated and have a good support team at home are the best candidates. Those who qualify are given special education on their recovery, which must be followed closely.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I used to work a rehab center about 20
years ago and our patients would be there 3-7 days. Would have to put them on a CPM machine to keep the knee moving. People would be in a ton of pain.. now it’s home that night or the next day.

A friend got me some truck nuts for mine. You'd better believe they're proudly dangling from my knee scooter.
