By the way, which Canadian team will yo be rooting for in the Stanley Cup playoffs this year?

59.6 percent of the NHL made up of Canadians so plenty of Canucks to cheer for on every team.:canada1

On the course!
Guess what, it's not 1994, it's 2016 so my only option is to see them in 2016. It probably won't be what it was in 1991/1992 (not 94 actually) but I've waited 25 years to see them again and I have every intention on being there.

GNR was a the biggest band of my teenage years and it will be great to see them again even if the product isn't what it once was.

I think that is the perfect way to go in. You certainly don't expect to see the same thing you saw 25 years ago, and you'll take what you get.

I loved their albums back in the day. I thought they brought back some hard rock into what was becoming a hairband/glam era.

I never had any desire to see them live, but I think if one of my favorite bands got back together, I would want to give it a look. That being said, I just think back to how disrespectful Axl was to the fans who paid to see them. I'll never forgive him for that shit.

Yep, he is an asshole, and like you I liked their music but would never pay money to see them no matter what year it was. And I had plenty of chances to see them but unless the ticket was free I'd never go to a GNR concert. I don't want any of my money going to a fuckstick like Axl Rose.

But then you have fans like Bleed who'd lick Axl balls and then pay Axl money for letting him lick Axl's nutsack:mj07:

To your first point, we agree, I don't NEED them to be what they once were. This is about a middle aged guy spending one night reliving his teenage years with like minded friends getting blackout drunk and wondering where the last 25 years went.

Second, yep, Axl was a dick to a lot of people and there is no excuse for that. You did mention an important point, they were "The most dangerous band in the world" in a time when rock was becoming pussified. You don't get the change of scenery by hiring 5 nice boys (pun intended), you hire potential trouble and sometimes, that's what you get.

Here
I'm just glad Slash is back ! :00hour

I'm not a fan of Axl and I wasn't disappointed with his singing. You could see he was in better shape in 2012 & 2013 than he was when he 1st started touring.
My wife is the big Axl fan so I had to endure a few shows w/o Slash. :0002

He did stop & scold someone during one show.

I will be @ one or two of these shows. THAT FOR SHOULD !:0003

All the reviews were positive. Everyone said his voice sounded great. And they dumped Pitman for a really, really hot keyboardist. I mean smoking hot. Melissa Reese. wow.

Was that the confirmed setlist from last night?

I'm really in zero position to complain, but please close with something besides "Paradise City" this time around.

Could also add ZZ Top in there, they are like 98 years old and still rock the fuck out.

Went to ZZ Top a few years ago in the Florida Theatre and they sound just as they did 35 years before when I was 16 listening to Fandango tooling around in my Z28. Very good concert!

:Yep:

yes it is,
and they should drop KOHD too, uses time for two songs and it is horrible "sing along"-song...

http://loudwire.com/guns-n-roses-fi...lash-duff-mckagan-videos-photos-setlist-more/

I disagree, somewhat. I wanna hear KOHD as well as Mr. Brownstone. For the sake of history I want to hear SCOM, but other than that I don't really care.

Wouldn't mind hearing something off of "Lies", maybe "Nice Boys" or "Reckless Life".

It does seem they always close with "Paradise City", though.
