Oh please... if he had gone 2-11 this year, he would have been fired in a heartbeat.

You may be right. SEC fans can be delusional.

I know from experience, as LSU fans (me included) are calling for Les Miles' head after going 52-14 in 5 years, a 4-1 bowl record (including 2-0 in BCS bowls), a national title, a conference title, 2 divisional titles. Plus, his teams have put at least one 1st rounder in the NFL every season (including 8 1st rounders overall)

Hundreds of students have now gathered on Johnny Majors Boulevard and are blocking the road, apparently with the goal of keeping departing Coach Lane Kiffin from leaving the lot.

There are signs that order is breaking down--someone has apparently brought a mattress down and lit it on fire.

The locals ain't happy!!!!

Not the mattress!!!!!

I got a feeling Duke will be looking for a new coach in the coming days.
Tenn is going to take Cutcliff from them.
Tenn will not even call Leech.

Duke would call Leech if they lose Cutcliff.

The one guy sitting around right now wondering if he might have been in line for the Tenn job is Tuberville.

I agree with you on all of this. I just texted this to my Vol friend: Cutcliff is en route to Knoxvegas

Tubbs has had his eye on Les Miles' job like a freakin' vulture, and no doubt he would have loved to slide in at UT. They say timing is everything, and Tubbs just learned that lesson the hard way

As a fan, I'm not upset that bigmouth Kiffin is leaving. I'm more upset about losing the recruits that were coming to Knoxville.

I hated the hire in the first place, because I wanted Kelly. I could care less about him because the joke will be on USC in the long run. They hired a guy who was 7-6 here and did nothing more than run his mouth and make empty promises. Hell, he was 5-15 as an NFL head coach.

12-21 coaching record - good luck USC:142smilie
