Driving while impaired laws in the USA are a fucking joke,

They are. Very true.

No consequences, none.
.

Not exactly true. I know of several people who had fines and court costs amount anywhere from 10k to 50k.

And for the record if you drive impaired and you kill somebody you should get a minimum 25 years, that's my take.

Agreed.

Why is it that 95 percent of the time the piece of shit DUI driver lives, and the innocent people die? Seems to always happen.

Not sure....but it seems like they survive more than the victims.....at least it seems that way.

I hope he gets the 46 years in prison that he is facing. Because of him a lady and her dog burned to death, the absolute worst way to die, fuck him.

We'll know in two years, probably. By the way.....45 years for the woman and 1 year for the dog.

That was probably after one DUI, which goes along with my point of pretty much zero consequences. There are thousands of people driving around in the USA with multiple DUI's, big fucking deal if they pay a fine.

$150K bail?

Case in point.......bullshit DUI laws.

When you are responsible for somebody burning to death there should be no bail, let alone 150K.

I don't have any numbers, but it seems almost anywhere in the world, the person who is driving while intoxicated lives, and the innocent person dies. It is super rare to hear about a DUI driver dying and the person/people they hit live.

Driving while impaired laws in the USA are a fucking joke, that is one major reason why we see examples in this thread of people driving impaired. No consequences, none.

Hell you have people driving around with numerous DUI's on their record, it is laughable. Bottom line, if you are caught driving while intoxicated you should never be allowed to operate a motor vehicle ever again.

The countries that have strict DUI laws have less deaths are the road, that is a fact.

And for the record if you drive impaired and you kill somebody you should get a minimum 25 years, that's my take.

Agree. DUI laws aren?t well prosecuted. Back in my day, DUI was swept under the rug no problem. Things have tightened in terms of enforcement these days. Those cops who pulled me over around corner from my house saved me from 10k fine and community service for a 1st offense.

Agree driver seems to live more often than not. A few months ago a 16-year-old driving three of her friends was impaired and speeding about half an hour from my house. She wrecked into a tree or something, two passengers died, one passenger is paralyzed and driver walked away.

Agree, several of us just took Uber home from the Braves celebration in the Battery in Atlanta. Granted it took walking a couple blocks to get one but we finally did. Seems like $68 is a lot but not compared to this for sure

supposedly there is an Instagram or tiktok or one of those social media video places of his girlfriend talking on the phone with someone back home right before the accident about hooking up for dinner and she says "if we live thru this night"

there is also a no questions car service with every NFL team

a life lost and a life destroyed ... over something so stupid and completely avoidable

Not only did the lady burn to death, her dog burned to death as well.

Fuck him.

"Tina O. Tintor was the name of the Las Vegas woman who died with her dog in the wrecked and burned Toyota RAV4. Records show she lived several blocks from where the crash occurred on a busy thoroughfare in a residential area several miles west of the Las Vegas Strip."

The name of the Las Vegas dog was Max. :0008
