Wow, all I have to say is I sure didn't expect an ass-whuppin' coming from my 'Bows. Bradley's a solid team, but the combination of UH's size advantage and unexpected scoring from benchwarmer Tony Akpan really did Bradley in. Laid off the game myself, but thought Bradley +7.5 1H was an even better play. Glad I didn't make it, although if that Bradley guy would've at least made the front end of that one-and-one opportunity with 4 seconds left in the 1H, it would've most likely have been a winner for theboundbook.
Gotta say this about the Warriors. They outrebounded Bradley almost 2:1. Most importantly, they grabbed 19 offensive boards which led to 26 second-chance pts. Akpan, who last season normally came in for defensive presence, ruled the paint and scored 25 pts, far and away his career high. With him and Shimanovich working the inside, they could give opponents fits all season long. And with Bradley focusing on Hawaii's big men in the paint, UH got lots of open looks from the outside in the 2H.
