LETS GO OVER

Went 1-1 yesterday, the Gladbach/Frankfurt over was easy as pie, Hertha/Mainz not so much. Now ticking around .500 on this thread, would like to catch another little hot streak. I feel the weekend has plenty of 'over' matchups in various leagues, and I am really looking forward to it. But first we need to get through mid week, and there is a ton of action.

I fear the dreaded 1-1 draw when some of the big heavy squads face off, as some of these can become tight affairs. I have mixed feelings on a few of these, but I have to stick to my guns.

INTER MILAN / NAPOLI OVER 2.5 - 138

Let's start with Inter, these are their scoring tallies the last few times out in Serie A - 3, 3, 3, 3. If you take out the 2 clean sheets vs Shaktar in UCL Inter has scored in every single other game this season. The offense is in super fire form, and again outside of those clean sheets they generally concede a goal themselves. Let's flip it over to Napoli, these are their recent scoring tallies the last few times out in Serie A - 2, 4, 4, 1. The two teams average over 5 goals a game, they are in top the top 2 or 3 in all of these categories; shots, shots on target ( 1 & 2), goals (1 &2), crosses. We are backing the 2 highest scoring teams in the league to find the net 3 times in this game. I think this line should be higher honestly, and I fear the 1-1 draw, but given the above argument this is an auto play for how I cap games. As I write this the line has gone down to -125.

JUVENTUS/ATALANTA OVER 2.5 - 138

I have really enjoyed watching Atalanta over the last 2 years. When this team is in form they are joy to watch, and play super entertaining football. They were stuck in the mud for quite awhile, but I am hoping the recent good form will continue. They are coming into this off a 3 goal effort vs Fiorentina on the weekend. Atalanta has one of the most prolific offenses in Europe, but they are hardly known for the defensive efficiency. I know they just strung together 2 clean sheets in a row, but I don't trust that to continue. Juventus has really been hitting their stride on offense as is evident by their recent scoring performances in all competitions - 3, 3, 2, 3, 1, 2, 2. Both teams combine for over 4 goals a game, they are right around the top 5 or better in shots, shots on target, goals, crosses. I think there will be chances, again this could be a tight affair, but given the %'s of how things typically play out I will take my chance with them finding the net 3 times.

Good Luck

Damnit first one in and its the 1-1 tie I hoped to avoid. I wouldn't change a thing though if I had to do it all over again. If you told me that they would have 27 shots ( 13 on target) between these two, and that Ronaldo would be up for a penalty kick with 30 minutes remaining to cash my ticket, I would take my chances. He missed the first spot kick in months, damnnnnnn.

I am looking at an absolute blood bath today, giving back a lot the last 2 weeks. I love the weekend card, I will see about posting, don't like giving out plays when I am running in the mud like this.

I?ve been terrible this week going into today .. keep trucking. !

Thanks Kid, it seems like this board is like the stock market lol we generally win together, and lose together. Seems like a down week or two on the Madjacks soccer forum, just a matter of time until we all explode again!

I am passing for today and tomorrow likely, but back on the weekend.

There are two high scoring games I am going to take a stab at with ACM/SAS Over and Man U/Leeds Over, more on that later.

think I'm going to take a shot on MANUre in a double with roma over:eek:

Nice picks TT I liked both over, and played neither. I did play a little combo bet with Manu to win and over a goal, so ill take it. I think the Man Utd performance makes me like their over even more on the weekend vs. Leeds. I see lots of action in that one, I added a bit more to it today.

Ahhh the thrills of sports betting, when you hit 9-10 in a row you think you will never lose, when you drop 8 in a row you think you will never cash another ticket LOL. Yes, sometimes a break is needed. Having done this for a long time I can honestly say money management when your wheels are spinning is probably the most important thing in keeping a solid bankroll. It sounds kind of obvious, but its super easy to lose focus and start chasing, we have all been there. The discipline when your going through the mud, only hitting 20-30% of your bets will make or break you over the year.

With that said, I should have some time to give some insights later today, or tomorrow.

Getting in here a little late, if anyone follows they would of seen a few days ago I played AC MILAN/SAS over and MAN UTD/LEEDS Over 3. The Man U line is juiced heavy it was -120 earlier in the week, and is now -205. I really like the play, but don't think I would want to lay -200. Happy Holidays Everyone!

now we know why such a crazy line:scared 3 in the 1st 20'

Ya man! I am pretty good at getting ahead of the big line swings, but I didn't anticipate that going almost to.-300!!

Relatively easy profitable day over here. A shady VAR call caused the ACM/SASS to fall on 3, but the other 2 cashed with lots of time to spare.

CHELSEA/ WEST HAM OVER 2.5/3 -135

You can get better odds with the over 3, at -135 this is just about at my threshold for playing the Asian line. I will take my chances here, the hammers have been finding the net with consistency. They have scored in their last 15 games in a row. I am looking for Chelsea to bounce back here with atleast 2 or 3if they are on their game.

Adding these for tomorrow:

AC MILAN/LAZIO OVER 2.5/3 - 130 - AC Milan Overs have been the gift that keeps on giving. ACM is the 2nd highest scoring team in SERIE A, they average over 2 goals a game. I think Lazio is a willing partner here for goal scoring and can find the net themselves. Milan has conceded a goal in 9 out of their last 10 league matches.

ATALANTA/BOLOGNA OVER 3 - 115 - Atalanta is a VERY dangerous team when they are in form. It seems they put the run of negative play behind them. Atalanta has found the net 8 times in their last 3 contests, including a 4 goal effort on Sunday vs Roma. Atalanta average over 2 goals a game. I think Bolgna can find the net here, they in the top 10 in the league in both shots, and shots on target, so I think they will create some chances.

What a horrible match. No energy. No chances. Chelsea got their goal and haven't had 15 minutes if possession since.

All I had to do was start bitching. Nice call. 1 more???

Damn, Werner really has to shake these ghosts, the guy is missing point blank chances all over the pitch lately. Chelsea didn't even play well and could of popped 5 today. When everyone is clicking on that team they can really rack the goals. Ill take a half win over a push any day, although Timo hitting the bar in the final moments sucked lol

I am going to take a look at the lineups in MANU/EVERTON before I pull the trigger. United is an over machine!
I anticipate some heavily rotated lineups, so I want to see what the coaches truck out there before jumping in.

MAN UNITED / EVERTON OVER 2.5 - 154
Lineups looks NICE on both squads. Not much to this one, Everton comes in off back to back multi goal efforts, and anyone who reads my posts know my affinity for a MANU goal fest lol. Hopefully we can get 3.
