Weather at kickoff is 26 degrees with winds at 5-15 mph (wind should not be a factor).
What reallly matters is who is catching & throwing the ball. People say the NO won't be able to handle the cold weather, but I disagree. Brees played in college at Purdue, Pierre Thomas played at Illinois, and Lance Moore grew up in OH and played college ball at Toledo. That being said, they are yused to the weather in the Midwest.
Keep in mind, NO played in Chi last year twice and Brees threw 60 times for 320 yds, 3 TD's, and 2 int's on Dec 30th & the total in that game was 58 (game time temp was 30 degrees). In that same game Pierre Thomas put up 226 tot yds & a td. The other time they played was on Jan 21st (game time temp 28 degrees). Brees threw 49 times for 354 yds, 2 td's, & 1 int and the total came in at 53.
In Dec Chi +1 & over 42.
In Jan Chi -2.5 & over 42.5.
Bottom line ... Brees has shown he can put up the number in Chi in cold weather. Both games went over & Chi covered as a fav & dog.
