lennox claims to want to be very aggressive...i think that`s a bad idea....
and lennox doesn`t seem to recoup real well when significantly hurt in a fight...he is also getting older...and coming off a full year`s layoff...

.definitely top five...
...........................................

I doubt Lennox will come out aggressive. More likely wear this big white guy down some before he KOs him. Dont think Lennox would tell anyone his game plan anyway.

Lennox is getting older now and the layoff wont help him.
Klit may get the KO.

As the guy in RAINMAN said.....definitely top five, definitely top five.

SORRY, I GET A LITTLE FIRED UP WHEN PEOPLE COMPARE BOXING TO WRESTLING. NO HARD FEELINGS?

I KNOW THERE IS PLENTY OF CORRUPTION IN BOXING. AND I'M SURE FIGHTERS GET PAID OFF ALL THE TIME. I JUST THINK ITS CRAZY TO LAY MONEY ON THE POSSIBILITY THAT A FIGHT IS FIXED, WITHOUT KNOWING FOR SURE.

EITHER WAY WE'RE ON THE SAME SIDE, JUST FOR DIFFERENT REASONS.

Did he look in great shape ?

Does anyone not remember the Klit/Bird fight?
Bird gave Vitali a run for his money. Both Klit brothers are stiff as hell in the ring.....robot's in the ring. Vitali moreso.
I'll be surprised if this fight goes past six. With that said I will load on the under. Lewis in a cakewalk.

GL to all!

wow, this thread really exploded!

Looks like everyone agrees this fight is unlikely to go the distance.

Maybe a hedge for Lewis by KO at -203 combined with Klitschko by KO at +590 is a good idea.

Lines taken from Pinnacle. Emailed them and they said that these bets also include TKO's and DQ's (have to double check DQ's).

i agree on the stiffness of the klit bros......what are you gonna do?....they`re europeans.....they all fight like like they have an advanced case of spinal menningitis....

that said, lewis came in a tad heavy for this one...around 7 or 8 pounds over his tyson weight.....as a matter of fact, the heaviest of his career...

lewis is obviously the better man....but,this does set up well for klitschko..the weight....the layoff......the switch in opponents...

lewis probably k.o.`s vitali......but,do you have the stones to lay 4 or 5 to 1....i don`t....as a matter of fact,i took a small under bet and a small shot at klit by k.o......

i still have the oliver mccall, rahmann fights buzzing in my brain....

longshot?....yes.........impossible...no..

as for byrd....seems nobody is in a hurry to fight chris...with good reason....lennox wants no part of him.....

and in fairness, byrd was way behind on all cards vs klitschko before he quit.....vitali`s dangerous early....but,he does have a heart problem if pushed hard in fights.......here`s the byrd klitscko fight report.........

"The dubious WBO heavyweight title has once again changed hands. The crown that once worn by Tommy Morrison, Michael Bentt, and Herbie Hide, now rests with American Chris Byrd.

The 8-to-1 underdog Byrd, Flint, Michigan, captured the WBO title when the former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko quit on his stool after nine full rounds. The former Russian amateur star originally from Kiev in the Ukraine, complained that he had injured his left shoulder earlier in the bout and was unable to continue.

Despite clearly controlling the fight and leading on all three judges scorecards, 89-82, 88-83, 88-83, Klitschko maintained the pain in his shoulder was so severe he was worried about further injury."..

byrd was coming on....but,he couldn`t have won a decision....vitali couldn`t suck it up for 3 more rounds......that says something..

K.O.D.
GARDEN WEASEL AGREES WITH ME ON THIS ONE, AND HE KNOWS MORE ABOUT BOXING THAN YOU AND TBT COMBINED.

BUT ANYWAY, THANKS FOR MAKING MY POINT FOR ME. YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT, THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO KNOW ABOUT THE FIX ARE THE ONES FIXING IT. AND TBT IS NOT ONE OF THEM!!!!
IN OTHER WORDS HE HAS NO IDEA IF THE FIGHT IS RIGGED, AND HE ADMITS THAT IN HIS POSTS. WHY ARE YOU BACKING HIM UP?

YOU'RE RIGHT FLETCHER WILL LAUGH HIS ARS OFF, JUST NOT FOR THE REASONS YOU THINK.

FLETCHER
WHEN YOU GET DONE LAUGHING AT THIS. YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT K.O.D.'S REPLY TO MY UPCOMING FIGHTS THREAD, WHERE HE ACTUALLY PREDICTS MOSLEY TO KNOCK OUT DE LA HOYA. IT'S HILARIOUS.

Hey Boxlocks.....why dont you take you and your 30 UNINTELLIGENT posts out of this forum. I think that you are a walking turd, and no one wants to read your idiotic blabber.

No one knows if fights are rigged.....it is my opinion that many are these days. I cant be proven right and I cant be proven wrong at this point, so for you to tell me that my opinion is worthless really shows that you are an unintelligent person. :moon:

scott,

dont know his weight in the Tyson fight

couldnt tell if he was "in shape"(he never took of his shirt to weigh in), but I think he is more than ready for the fight...espn interviewed him after the weigh-in and he looked calm and ready to get this on....

Lewis wins by KO (-214)
Under 7.5 rounds (-120) (pinn on both)

Can't be Lewis at those odds but can't bet Klitchsko either. His defense is shaky and he fights like a robot...Lewis is going to have target practice tonight. Lennox has gotten too good to get upset by a lower caliber fighter like Vitaly. He should stop him in the first 6 rounds.

If this is your idea of the outcome and you think strongly about this then why cant you bet Lewis with whatever the odds. I thought that was called gambling or picking the winner.

Just wondering

Remember one thing my friend. You asked for comments and for people to come into the thread. So when I gave my opinion of Mosely taking out De La Hoya you give me the backsass.

You got some nerve rook.

Your lucky KOD even came in your thread in the first place with you 30 post ass. Normally it takes quite a while to get threads responded to. Consider yourself lucky to this point as message forums aint easy to understand the rules of ettiquette.

I hardly think your a boxing Guru and make a living betting boxing.

If you want to eat with the dogs you got to move over first and let the big dogs eat. Have you seen my pack yet ? Its in Gen Forum under King OF Dogs we got pictures and all..

I still hope fletcher comes in here and see who he backs up dipstick !:thefinger

first not taking a side just what i know from being around it so much out here, that is how i get all the tickets through jeri as she is has a very close friend who works for her that is a daughter of a top promoting company and i have be blessed to be inside camps out here and get great seats do to that.

If it is good for boxing that is who you look for to win , boxing is all about themself and your top promoters not the fighters ,and it is good to know where your fighter is fighting and what type of pull he has in that town. about a month ago look at spadafore fight in the burgh i had paul of course would of been a fool not to as i watched the fight i had worries but home town kid and why i took him had a easier time then i saw. Fixed is a word i hate to say dirty or swayed in a certain direction with out a doubt that is why you have it being looked out by goverment for over all watch dog for the betterment of the sport, ps that shit is never going to fly. but your camp and promoter has major pull at times and like i said if it's good for boxing look for that to happen. say you have a fight on hbo and boxing knows they have the same fighter for ppv next 2 fights trust me fighter who has the ppv draw is going to win 99.9% of the time. It is all about the flow of money sad but true, but still love the sport.

need to go watch fight now will give my thoughts on mosely/oscar fight shane could give him trouble style wise and would of been more suited to go with him till oscar got back in to be bobs poster child. will talk more later about it.

hope this helps no wrong or right all opion. lets all keep up the good work and keep it from fighting between ourself then we lose are edge.

good luck to all

Eric

rematch!

rematch!

C'mon Lewis...let's have another go. Wow, for the first time in years we've had an exciting and competitive fight. You got the feeling that either fighter could drop the other at any moment the way those bombs were flying early. In my opinion, Vitaly could have finished Lewis off in the second round if he had only followed up. I'm just hoping that Lewis doesn't try to duck him in the future. The payday should be right, so hopefully this fight can be made. Congrats to all under bettors!
