...well, I guess that means they had to beat the Colts to do so! Definitely didn't wait to say anything!

My bad. If I offended you because I said something negative about your favorite team, you'll have to forgive me. I always make the mistake of thinking this is a handicapping forum, not a fan forum. Why do you even care what I say about the Steelers? If you're so confident they're going to win it all, why don't you just sit back and watch the money roll in? I said that Indy has a softer defense than Denver and that I don't think Pitt has a snowball's chance in Denver. Just my opinion. Strong opinion, sure. But not sure why you take it so personally.

..o, so if my profile still says I'm in Tuscaloosa then that means I'm still in school? sorry, wrong again, not in Ttown, even though I wish I was, but what the hell does that have to do with anything?
you must have lost a little today, do yourself a favor and bet on Steelers next week, what's the line Steelers -3?

Your occupation says "school" and the town says Tuscaloosa. Sorry, I know that was a huge stretch for me to assume that you go to Bama.

o, and as for the bet last year, well, yeah, I lost $100 betting on the Steelers odds to win the Super Bowl, but betting on a rookie qb who just had a half a football left to get to the Super Bowl, well, that kinda gets your attention, especially for the next year.

i hope I'm making sense because the red wine and the :weed: are starting to get to me

I did go to Bama and I graduated a few years ago... Roll ****in Tide and even though I'm saying all this shit about the Steelers, it's really Big Ben that I'm the most impressed with! O, by the way, I ****in hate Terry Bradshaw

Well like I said, the Steelers played very well today. I wasn't trying to take anything away from them. I just think Denver is built much different than Indy. I shouldn't have said they don't have a snowball's chance in hell, because I don't think it will be a blowout. But I do like Denver.

That could happen. But I think Shanny will be prepared for Pitt's aggressive style of D. And as for Pitt, if Big Ben has a huge game I think they have a good chance. I don't think they will be able to run the ball all that well though.

agreed, 2 things I would be careful of backing pitt next week...3rd rd playoff game...in Denver, vs Shannahan...ok 3 things...

love Panthers however, Seattle is way over-rated...Carolina has hit their stride...

I already put a big bet on Carolina +4.5. Seattle has a great O but they are going to have a tough time with Carolina's d. They will shut Alexander down for sure.

One thing that bodes well for Jake Plummer is his is one of the more mobile qb's in the league as he uses that mobility to move the pocket and escape pressure.

I've loved Carolina myself and I like em to beat Seattle, but if Foster isn't healthy, it's gonna be tought to pull that trigger. I don't think Seattle is all that impressive but we got all week to figure it out.

don't think the RB position is gonna be that big of a factor...there is not a big difference between Goings and Forster imo...goings looked just as good if not better than foster vs Chicago today...

Unfortunately for you the Steelers don't play a soft, heartless defense next week like the Colts. They don't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning at Denver.

Denvers damn lucky to even be hosting this game.........without every break in the world as well as numerous calls going there way they would be watching Pitt playing at NE.........

And as for Denvers great defense.........DID YOU MISS THE GAME LAST NIGHT WHEN TOM BRADY PASSED FOR ALMOST 400 YARDS WITH NO SACKS............

When did I say Denver had a great overall defense? Their pass defense sucks. Their run D is #2 in the league though. So am I surprised Tom Brady had a huge game against them? Of course not. They caught a couple of breaks, true, but they won by 14. Not exactly like they got a ton of calls and then won on a last second FG. As for Pitt... I never said Denver was going to shut down Big Ben did I? I simply said I don't think Pitt will be able to run on them...

And don't forget that NE's running game was very ineffective, that's why Brady had so many pass attempts and yards. That's a big part of the reason Denver's pass D stats are so bad to begin with. They have a great run D, so most opponents abandon the run and try to pass on them.
