Clearly your bias prevents you from discussing anything leaf related with any kind of logic and insight. Nobody is arguing that the puck didn’t cross the line. It is a question of when. There are innumerable incidents of precedence where the whistle does not have to be blown for the play to be dead, only the ref’s intention to blow the whistle. Call on the ice was no-goal, not even close to enough evidence to over turn it.
You want to go unhinged over 1 call, go ahead. You want to blame this early exit and latest choke job on them running into a hot goalie? That’s your prerogative.

I guess you missed the part where the puck crossed the line 0.15 seconds after the shot was made, the whistle wasn't close to being blown, so right there your argument is voided. The whistle didn't blow 0.15 seconds after the shot was taken nor was it blown when Sergei Bobrovsky was stretching his leg to stop the puck. So again, the whistle has zero issue with the puck crossing the line. Since you are one that likes logic and insight take a look at the picture with the puck crossing the line and Morgan Rielly is STILL IN THE FRAME, no ref blows the whistle while a goalie is in the process of making a save, he's literally stretching to make a save and you are saying the ref blows the whistle, yeah ok:mj07:

1. I never said the Leafs lost the series all because of one horrid "no goal" call, I said they would have won Game 5 and Florida was in deep trouble. The NHL totally fucked over the Leafs by taking away a Game 5 win. Does that mean the Leafs would have won the series for sure, of course it doesn't, but taking away one win because of total bullshit call sure changes things.
2. Leafs outplayed Florida badly in two games, and they lost those two games because of a hot goalie, that is just a fact.
3. If you can dish it out, and can't take it, that's on you. Funny how you called the Leafs "soft" when the Canucks had the two biggest pussies to ever play in a playoff game, and you know the two I am talking about. If you want to dish it out, ya gotta learn how to take it.
4. Canucks are so fucking awful, they aren't even in a position to choke. So again, you want to dish it out, ya gotta take it when it comes back at you.

And for the record.....despite that bullshit call and well despite everything, the Leafs should have beaten Florida and advanced to the semi finals. The big boys didn't step up and put the puck in the net. The Leafs had a FOURTH STRING goalie in net and he got the job done, the guys with the huge contracts didn't score, if they did, the Leafs would have advanced.
