From the LPGA home page (even though the scoreboard won't update):

Kerr captures first win at Longs Drugs

After dominating the 2002 Longs Drugs Challenge for four consecutive rounds, Cristie Kerr (right) finally brought home her first LPGA title with an eight-under-par 280 (66-72-67-75). The six-year Tour veteran entered the final round with a five stroke lead over Jane Crafter and went on to post a 75 (+3) in a wire-to-wire finish over 2001 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year Hee-Won Han who finished one stroke back at 281 (74-70-67-70).

Well done chaps.

Final update:

Outright plays: 1-2; +33.00 units

Inkster 8th
Gustafson 12th
Kerr 1st

What a finish! Kerr dominated this event but made it a very nervous event to follow on the last day. In the end, Hee-Won Han bogeyed the last hole to hand the debut victory to Kerr. Fine performance from the other selections even though they failed to finish in the top-5. Inkster was always in contention for a top-5 spot until the end and had Gustafson shot level-par (instead of 80) in the 2nd round, she would have finished level with Kerr. A great week to have increased LPGA event to a 1.5 unit weighting

LPGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 6-3; +8.40 units
Outrights: 3-14; +24.53 units

Sure was fun tourney with big 2 out and made even more exciting in the end by inept scoreboard.Could have been better on units won as Kerr was only non win wager but trying to stick to method of max 4 units bet and only had 1 unit left for final selection. However did have aniexty pocketbook wise as ole dogs is not foolish enough not to place a little unofficial win cheese down when his top mentors or both on a player at these odds.

LOL!

On 2nd thoughts, Bmad, maybe I should take my better half for a weekend in Paris and see what change I have left. Bit like your retirement plan, but this is a marriage plan ... spend 10% of winnings on your family and they will put up with a lot, especially a grumpy sod 'cos his laptop's broke ;)

For the first time I am attempting to withdraw funds from NetBet Sports...sweet...I knew we'd get them in the end...let's hope it all goes smoothly.

Another triumph...a two page LPGA post.....times are a changing?!

I've been sucked in....

now got my ladie's form together (hot on the heels of my senior's - 2 bets 1 winner so far)... though worringly this week my money would have gone on Inkster not Kerr.... after all Kerr had indifferent course form and a missed cut last time out.... it's the old "no pain no gain".... you lads have put the effort in over time, developed a feel for it and so gleaned the rewards....

I am a young apprentice starting my studies on the path to untold riches.....

True, but you have to remember with Kerr that she hasn't gone the traditional route. She turned pro at 18 and has never been to College..she's fairly battle hardened already and plays difficult courses particularly well.

Sadly, this will probably be the last time she'll be backed this year as I imagine her price will shrink...still, the money's in the bank (not literally yet!)
