I am not sure where you are getting at? I put my money where my mouth is. If I like a team a lot, i bet. I have said many times most of my profits have come from betting USC. Mainly because I know the team inside out and last 3 years been ton of value bets. I posted every big bet I have won. I never once brought up a big bet I won that I did not post on madjacks. So for any profits I have won, people easily could have won with me because I always posted my picks AND gave detailed analysis behind them. Doesn't mean I guarantee winners but I sure as hell will take the credit if I win, no matter how I win.
As for my 6 NCAA futures. I designed it where my 2 money makers were UNC and Illinois and 4 others would cut my losses dramatically. I lose big if none of my 6 teams win it all. Anybody could have jumped on board with me (for whatever amounts). I have not or ever have touted winnings that I have not posted on MJ's.
I don't put people down but when I post my opinion I am VERY confident in what I feel. If I lose, I am always back and admit I am or was wrong. I never said I post 100% winners or 100% locks. Whenever I tout something, I always put my money where my mouth is.
The thread you linked, I posted the quotes of someone else who said I WAS WRONG when after the matter, what I posted about the game was correct. It was time for him to eat crow! I didn't call him names.
IMO, handicapping is making predictions. I predict Illinois will beat UL. I don't just say they will, I explain WHY I think they will. That is where I back up my opinion with analysis. Depending on how confident I am in my opinion, I will decide on how much $$$ I want wager on it.
Do people feel threatened when I post? I don't get it. Whats wrong with posting back and forth your opinions on a game. It helps educate people and at the end everyone can decide on their own how much they want to wager on the game and who to take. Hell, maybe you don't change someones original opinion, but maybe they bet more or less on the game based on the info discussed.
Lastly, my intention is never to offend anyone here at MJ's. I usually just ignore those who try and get under my skin and I stick to posting about the subject at hand. Right now, my posts are on why Illinois will beat UL.

Or would people rather have threads where people express their opinion on WHY this team will win or WHAT are the different matchups/advantages.
